Hi I was interested in buying my next Vapor Mod and am a little torn on what direction to go. A chargeable mod or one that holds a battery such as an 18650. The Mods I think I've narrowed it down to are these 3:
istick 50w , MVP 3 , or ipv Mini 2 70w

Can anyone help tell me what the benefits of a mod that holds a battery are? I currently have an istick and like how I can just plug it in and charge it up. Do you lose vapor production as a removable battery mod loses its charge? What are the benefits and cons of each? What one should I choose?

Thank you guys always

Don't go cheap on anything. Don't burn your house down or damage your face to save $20. Good batteries and a charger should run you $40-60 for 2 batts and a 4 bay charger. You will end up needing a 4 bay some day.
The i50 or MVP will last a day or more for most people and if the power goes out you can charge them in your car. Battery mods are good if you have extra batteries to swap out. I have modest needs and efest 3100mah last me more than a day.

I carry 2 MVP2s an SVD2 and Sigelei Zmax V5 every day. #overkill

I prefer the mods that require an 18650. The beneft is that as the battery ages you can replace it. No, you don't lose power on something like the ipv mini as the battery diminishes. The advantage of the istick 50w or mvp 3 is much higher battery capacity.

With the ipv mini v2, you can charge it via usb same as anything else. I would also suggest you take a look at the sigelei 50w v2 which offers better build quality in my opinion.

The other thing worth mentioning is that a small percentage of the isticks are having performance issues (auto firing / low power output) so it's possible to receive a dud. With the ipv mini, the battery cap is not as robust as I'd like it to be and on a few the tanks are not sitting flush. This is why I suggested the sigelei 50w v2.
