It may even be healthier for your battery to be topped off. These are not like the old batteries where they would have a memory that resets. Go ahead and top them off. Battery safety says that you should charge them while you are awake and present in case anything should happen. Check them once in a while to make sure they are not getting hot. As soon as they are charged, take them off the charger. Just standard precautions!
