I just recieved my new Riva 510 and Joye 510. According to the pamplets the batteries should charge for a full 8 hours regardless if the green light comes on, then use it for 20 minutes and back on the charger for 1 more hour?? It was bit confusing and just wanted to make sure I got it right.

Ordered from Liberty-Flights and though I was happy with the phone service and assistance I got, so far I'm less than pleased with my order. I was shorted a bottle of juice and promised a sample bottle of Cherry Cola which also was not included. Email sent but no response just yet.

Anyway,,,back to the charging question? Any thoughts?

The green light means the battery is fully charged, ready to vape!:vapor:
Be sure to label the chargers, using an ego charger on a standard 510 battery can kill it quick.:(

Yep for sure. Your Riva charger will say 420 mah on it and the standard 510 will be like 200 mah. The Riva can supply too much current for a standard battery and therefore shorten its life by a large amount.

Ohh thank you for that!! I would not have even thought about it. The chargers look different so it should not be a problem but I will lable them anyway. The Riva has a usb port on it, the regular 510 has just a plug in connection.
