I have diamond and stealth batts in manuel and auto and I have been charging them on v4l standard usb charger for some time and thought nothing of it. But now Im wondering, can someone tell me if I am supposed to charging either or both of these types of batteries on a slim line charger instead? Is using a usb harmful to these batteries?
Thanks.

Ok Zelphie, who are you and why does you signature look so much like my avatar???

I honestly can't answer your question except by saying that our resident technical experts say the slim line chargers are better for the most recent V4L releases, like the soft touch titans and OVks too (I think), especially if leaving overnight to charge. I did use generic chargers for a long time, but have made the change. Hopefully someone who knows will be along soon to better help you.

If you are attentive and watching for the light to turn blue and take the batteries off when it turns full blue then you are fine. The thing about the usb chargers (morandir correct me if I am wrong as I am going off memory) is that they can overcharge your batts. The logic programming in the slimlines will cut it off much closer to the 4.1 target voltage on the Diamonds/Stealths.

If you have a slimline it is best to use that. I have well over a few hundred charges on mine and i usually leave them on overnight some have even accidentally sat for a day or two on the charger.. They still come off at the correct voltage and have just as much charge as my newer titans (respectivly to the style of batt)

lol, I dunno, I guess we both like kitties. I love your name too ;)

I recently bought my first two Vapor Titan soft touch batteries, and I can't say I am very impressed. They don't seem to produce much vapor, and they don't hold a charge very long, even if you don't use them. I am using the old style V4L wall chargers, and don't have any of the slim line chargers. They seem to charge just fine. Do I need to be using the slim line chargers on these batteries?
