Thanks guys! The main idea for at the time was cheap/easy. Chatango solved both of those. For at that time the ECF forums was upgrading servers. Instability was common place. So no offence taken. I had just used it before and knew how low the learning curve was to use. Just put in a name and go. I defiantly wanted to go with IRC from the beginning. Yet, still to this day, had no resources to host one. Piggy backed wifi is not something to host anything with... Even with chanserv and everything on pre-established servers, I felt that running IRC for the first time was a bit of a hassle just to chat (for most users at the time). You see, some people had issues with chatango. So that kinda stopped me from moving to IRC. If I had thought of, or knew of, a method to run IRC in a browser with ease, like you have. It may have changed my ways. Kudos! Time to lurk.
