We do that song in a Gospel Choir I'm in.

Glad to hear your ankle is better. Sprains can be as bad or worse than breaks and much easier to re injure. I have the Essiac Handbook on my desk a friend let me borrow. I'm a cancer survivor and did a lot with diet and herbal stuff as a part of my cure. I have a testimony on a thread in this forum I wrote some time ago. Thank you for your prayer for us. I firmly believe prayer is the biggest part of the cure.

Thank you Wuzz. If I heard the "C" work for myself, I would definitely be drinking per day: 2 cups of Essiac tea, 2 cups of kombucha tea, and 2 cups of green tea. I'm going to the Carlsbad mineral spring this week for the healing natural water - only .60 per gallon. I will use it from now on ... can't beat the price nor the health benefits. I don't have a death wish, so I don't drink the chlorinated, fluoridated tap water that my city so generously supplies us.

Dale, hats off to you. That was quick and concise. Sea, I hope everyone isn't coming over to your house on Christmas with your injuried ankle. Try to stay off of it as much as possible, and elevate it as well. Have you had x-rays....just to be sure nothing is broken.

Thank you Saint. And No, SC, I don't go to doctors unless I need to be sewn up or something as urgent. X-rays will just pump radiation into the body, so I don't do that either ... not even a mammogram. Firstly, it has been proven that mammograms can cause tumors from the compression of the breast, causing trauma to the tissues and cells. I've done my research, so I decline that kind of criminal malpractice. If I felt or saw a lump, that might be different, but I would decline the x-ray and opt for a not-radiating ultrasound instead. Same thing with a radiating CAT scan - say no and ask for an MRI instead.

I went to the er about 2 weeks ago very sick 103 temp the works...I have pneumonia and I am STILL fighting it....so sucks

Sorry to hear of your illness Jenn, but thank God for the fever ... that means your body's natural processes are working correctly and in a healing way. The higher the fever, the better ... up to a certain point.

No, I didn't get flushed down the toilet. Of course with my bladder problem, it could be a possibility. HA! I need a 'ha' as everything is upside down here. I was in the bed sick w/101 temp (fibro makes it feel like 103) and husband was back in the hospital again. His 02 sat was ranging between 79-90. He had to be taken to e.r. and he fought me tooth and nail. Got his mom to help me. So after staying up all night in the er before he got a room, I was out on my feet. When his doctor came in, husband wasn't being honest about his cpap useage and I interjected, along with another thing I cannot go into, and he felt like I ambushed him. We got in an argument and he kicked me out of his room. Needless to say, I didn't go back and let his mom handle him. I can't for the life of me understand why you are NOT truthful to a doctor. They are kind of friends, however, he would have gone into respiratory failure, like once before and I wanted answers. 3 years this has been going on. They refitted him with a new cpap mask and he was told that his old one was pinching off one of his caroidid arteries. He is doing so much better with this new one. Three years after getting the cpap, he was refitted. He does have some allergies as well. This time he had bronchitis, not pnuemonia like 7 weeks ago. We haven't spoken much, this past week and I hate it. What I did and what I said was the truth, and I stand by it. His mom was upset with me as well. Trying times indeed. After episodes like this, ya just want to stay down on the floor. I will, by the Hand of Jesus be back on my feet soon. Bladder is better as I found left over Bactrim and decided to take it just in case I might have an infection. It's better. I got one last spring....the 1st one in 100 years, so I decided to try this. I should have been a doctor.

Jenn, welcome to the board! I am sorry I wasn't here when you posted. You are among friends, here. :)

Oh dear! I am so sorry. It really sucks when truth gets us in trouble. You did do the right thing, praying the dh and mil will see it.
Things here are the same as ever, give or take.
My eldest spends all day Ina great mood, but it completely tanks the second her dh walks through the door.
He actually worked all day rather than night, thank the good lord, but he got home an hour and a half before my dh. I am so thankful for his ability to buffer, but I sometimes wonder how long we can all sit in this purgatory.
