You know....we could start a specific prayer thread where we could submit prayer requests and updates on them!

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

Well, I could use a little prayer from an owie I just now got!:( The USPS is short-handed, and my mail has been coming at 6-7pm ... last night it was after 8pm. I went out to check right now, and stepped onto a 16-inch designer flower pot and went flying ... landed on my hip and elbow and re-sprained my left ankle which I had sprained 6 mos ago.:( Ouch! It knocked the breath out of me, and I just laid there trying to get my breath back. I had just put the pot there a couple of days ago, b/c the rain has damaged and weakend one of my porch steps - didn't want to step through it. But then I forgot I put it there, and I was stepping down in the dark.

The forum needs more threads like this one.

Hi there, Wuzznt, nice to meet you. You're welcome to join us when you have time.:)

Hi! Checking in. Need to chat here more often. I am determined to try that golden milk one day soon. Been working on clay projects. .

I wish I could do clay ... then I could fix my beautiful flower pot. I gathered up the pieces that broke off the tulip lip to glue back on. Have fun with your clay, Chapel!

I have been very.... hyper lately. Fighting against one illness after another.

Chapel, if you have any essential oils, mix one of these with a carrier oil (like almond oil): Cassia, Frankincense, Helichrysum, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Ylang Ylang, Citrus Bliss, or Serenity. Apply them topically to your wrists or ankles , the back of the neck, or even a reflexology point 3 or 4 times a day.

I got depression when I stopped smoking and simmered lavender and rose oils in my aroma therapy simmering pot. It works!

Or you could just drink hibiscus tea.

Glad you weren't hurt seriously Seabrook. Steps can be dangerous. Especially in the dark.
I would appreciate prayer right now. My wife has stage three lung cancer and is starting treatments either tomorrow or Thursday. It's been a month of going from Dr. to Dr. appts and wading through a mountain of paperwork. Once they positively identified it they put it on fast track hopeing to control it. The Dr.s do the work but the healing has to come from Jesus. I'm not looking forward to what she has to go through. I'm a 7 year cancer survivor and remember treatments well. I hate comming into a thread with a downer but that's just where we are right now.

Holy Father, I come to You in the wonderful name of Jesus. There are so many people who have hurts, either of the body or soul, including myself. Lord, look upon us as a group of Christians...Your children, who need the touch of the Master's Hand. Lord, I humbly ask You to look deep in their hearts. I know the pain and coping can almost be unbearable, but You gave us the example. You give life, and one day we will be face to face with You forever, with no more tears of sorrow, pain, strife, and trials. You said You would be with us until the end of the earth. We know You are preparing a mansion for us, so that we can live eternity in Heaven with You. But until that time, we want to be nestled under Your wing. Faith can be very difficult at times, but I ask that You lift and expand our faith, walk with us in the gardens of our hearts. We know by Your Word that You will do this for us. The storm clouds surrounds us, but we know nothing happens that You don't allow. Help us to be ready as we are not fighting against flesh and blood. You teach us how to stand tall and face the adversary with Scriptures just like You did in the desert and in the garden. I thank You for another holiday with our families. You are our redeemer, our champion, our best friend, our King. Teach us all humility as we tend to forget from time to time. Thank You for loving us anyway. Thank You for the healing You will be doing. Thank You for dying on that awful cross for us. We speak freely of it, but we don't realize what it took to complete Your mission. I know I couldn't have watched it. I would have been arrested for screaming and begging for mercy for You. I love You so. I ask that You, once again, heal the sick, comfort the heartbroken, and ease finances for us all. For it's by Your Glory and Name I pray, Amein.

Fibromyalgia and interstital cystitis are two different auto-immune diseases. I have had to live with these 2 diseases for 20 1/2 years. Many times, however, people who have fibro also has I.C. It has taken 18 years for fibro to spread all over my body. It affects the nerve endings and it is very painful. I have had it so bad, I could argue that I have the flu running 103 temp. Some days you feel like your bones are rotting. No lie. Much of the time, my husband has to ask what hurts so he'll know where to place his arms around me. Repetitive motions hurt. I rarely cook anymore, I have a housekeeper, but I still pretty much do the laundry. But I didn't expect to be this crippled up in 20 years. I take medication, but sometimes it just doesn't work. Pain pill addiction? Nope. If I don't hurt, I don't take it. Now the bladder part. 1/2 of fibro patients have bladder problems. Some bladder patients do not have fibro and vice versa. I'm alway on the lookout for common denominators. I still don't have any.

I don't have the bladder as bad as some people have it however, what I have is bad enough. You forget inbetween flareups how bad it can be. I always have a #3 pain level in my bladder. It can jump to a 10 without any notice. It's the bladder wall that has the problem, the spinchter, and urethra. What works the best for me, besides urogesic pills and pain pills (sometimes) is a hydrostatic dilatation. That's has to be done out-patient surgery because they have to knock you out....put you under general anesthesia. They over-extend your bladder with saline solution 3x's while under. My capacity is 6 1/2 ozs. A normal person's is 16 ozs. or more. Cranberry juice would do me in. I have to be careful with acidic fruits. It's like having arthritis of your bladder wall and the other 2 parts. The bladder also shrinks and hardens over a period of years. As a young woman, I held 13 ozs. The bladder can be hardcore pain. I also have other problems with my health....some anti-immune and others not. BUT, I am still blessed, even if I can't get out and go places like I used to. I've been to healing services. Nope. From time to time I have a pity party, then I see a St. Judes commercial....a child with cancer....how wrong is that.

Thank you, Wuzznt, my ankle feels so much better today, so I think I'm on the mend. I've been drinking a cup of the Golden Milk recipe every day since to take the inflammation down, and it seems to be working well. I was amazed that it worked so quickly ... thought it would hang on for a couple of weeks, but that's (so far) not the case.

I'm so sorry to hear about your wife's cancer. I will continue my prayers coming your way.

Cancer is a big threat to all of us. If I got diagnosed, I think I would start making Essiac Tea to help me through it. The rainforest herb, Graviola, is also something I've considered. I have read a lot from curezone.com and cancertutor.com to try and get enough info to compile a "plan" for myself. Meanwhile, I will continue to: juice; drink green (veggie) smoothies; drink 2 c. of green tea per day; and eat plenty of mushrooms, garlic and mushrooms.

I pray for your and your wife's success in her treatment.

We do that song in a Gospel Choir I'm in.

Glad to hear your ankle is better. Sprains can be as bad or worse than breaks and much easier to re injure. I have the Essiac Handbook on my desk a friend let me borrow. I'm a cancer survivor and did a lot with diet and herbal stuff as a part of my cure. I have a testimony on a thread in this forum I wrote some time ago. Thank you for your prayer for us. I firmly believe prayer is the biggest part of the cure.

I am so very sorry everyone is having so much trouble, illness, heartbreak for our loved ones. satan is alive and well on planet earth. he knows he can't hurt the Father, so he hurts those that God loves. When a loved one is very sick, you want to take it from them and carry it yourself. My husband has been sick on and off for 3 years, starting with MRSA. I'm used to feeling lousy. I would have gladly taken it from him. He's getting better a little at a time. They finally did allergy tests on him. Maybe that will pan out. Every family I know is having serious problems. It can't be much longer before Jesus comes for His church. I don't sit and watch the news much anymore. I know what God's Word says and I have faith in Him to take care of everyone. I was becoming neurotic watching the news. I'm having trouble keeping my head above water. I believe God's Promises and for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. People giggle over Peter sinking in the water, walking out to Jesus on the water. He was okay until he took his eyes off of Jesus. But think about the fact that Peter was the only disciple who had the faith to crawl out of the boat. There was a mighty storm going on, but he knew his Saviour. Jesus said to come, so he did. And on the brighter side, Jesus didn't allow him to drown. So, all of you, I would be proud to stand with you, watching the waves, and I'll get out of the boat with you. We so desparately need each other, to stand when the waves are too scary. We need to write down all of these prayer requests, or at least I have to because I have a head like a cabbage, and to remember to pray for each other. Call in the prayer warriors you know. Remember to eat well, rest well, and take care of each other. Feel free to pm me over anything. If need be, you can call me.

Dale, hats off to you. That was quick and concise. Sea, I hope everyone isn't coming over to your house on Christmas with your injuried ankle. Try to stay off of it as much as possible, and elevate it as well. Have you had x-rays....just to be sure nothing is broken. Wuzz, my heart goes out for you. Being a caretaker isn't easy. I took care of my folks as much as I could, but I was limited. My sister was working full-time, taking care of her household, and really wasn't much help, if any. It is extremely difficult on the emotions. Chapel, I presume you've been to the doctor. Are you boggled down with bronchitis, flu, sinus infections, or is it auto-immune problems. I wish you well, as there is nothing worse than getting sick, then you're better, then you're sick, etc. Then there are those dreaded words saying, "We don't know but you'll have to live with it." Well, gonna pop off here and hopefully get some sleep. Blessings to all from our Saviour, Jesus Christ. :)

So....spent part of my day driving....had the fastest ER visit ever....found out that my head cold (as usual) morphed into something way less fun. Acute sinusitis with a side of upper respiratory infection. Blah. Hopefully the Augmenten will not put me back in there in three or four days with dehydration. Two people I know took it and ended up very dehydrated. I have had three G2's though, so I am off to a good start.
