cheap Battery charger?

Hello,

Just wondering if there is anyone out there that makes a cheap charger? Ones I'm seeing at are 25+ dollars. I'm cheap, so if I can find one that works just as good. That would be great! Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well one of the local vape shops had two charges available the i2 (intellicharger i2) and something a bit less in price. I picked up the i2 for a little over $15.

I wanted the lesser expensive one but the clerk convinced me that saving money on my charger is not the way to go if I want peace of mind and I agree. Of course after dealing with charging lipo batteries years ago for my model airplanes and trucks I learned back then not to buy cheap chargers and was actually quite surprised to find that I could get a charger for $15, my last lipo charger (which does more than just charge but...) was something like $99.

See if you can find the i2 on sale someplace. Mine's worked great for the short time that I've had it now but I've read lots of things with people saying it's been solid for them for a long time. There are others but that's the one that comes to my mind when I think of inexpensive.

Considering that batteries are the MOST IMPORTANT investment you will make in your vape setup, it makes sense to use a high quality charger. Don't go CHEAP here. From Baditudes Blog:

Battery Chargers. Get the best charger that you can reasonably afford. Statistically most battery incidents occur while charging. Pila, Xtar, and Nitecore Intellicharger are the most recommended brands.

I found my Xtar VP2 for $20ish. Can't remember if it was 20 or 25... but I would consider THAT to be quite cheap for a solid battery charger. If two batteries charging is enough for you, I'd recommend it.

Nitecore i2 s are generally running from 10-12$ on amazon , really when you look at it a pair of decent batteries cost more than the charger......

If you buy an Xtar charger from an authorized dealer it comes with a two year warranty. If you want to buy cheap and replace it every few months when it fails... your choice. It's not much of a stretch to get yourself into an Xtar WPII 2 for only twenty bucks, get a charger that does the job right - instead of trashing batteries, and still comes with two year backing. Two places to get them from a dealer are Xtardirect.com and RTD Vapor.
