Cheap caravela? :)

It's time for me to get a mechanical mod.
I'm looking for a sleek tubemod, prefferable with some brass in the design.
Something like the caravela (of course), but at a lower cost. I haven't found any pricing for the caravela, but I thick i'ts about $500-600?
I'm looking for something at the $200-300 range.
What would you recommend?

You cant get better than the Poldiac and this link is to the UMA edition which may be just what you are looking for, good luck! BTW it is right in your price range.

Poldiac is a great mod! It's on my wish list and its more achievable than a caravela. You can try looking into the Titan mod, its very well built but I gotta say its a look where you either like it or hate it.

Thanx guys!
The Poldiac does look nice.
But the Titan is not quite what I was looking for.
I like the details in the Gus, but I'm not a fan of telescopic mods. Maybe with a G-M's tube, it would be just right..
Also got a tip for a Mankos, but don't know where to find one..

I'm not in a hurry this time, don't really need another mod ATM, so I'm gonna take my sweet time on this one, until I find something that really suits me

Chi You certainly looks nice, however since it's The New Sexy flippers are grabbing them up and asking silly prices.

Aside from some of the nice mods called out above you can take a look at the Roller and 69. Tryin to decide myself between these two.

As usual, people use the excuse of "it's rare, no longer made" to gouge the {edit} out of people. They take more joy out of making a profit than passing it on to someone who will appreciate it.

Original price was $157 euro + extra for various tubes, etc

If you have some patience, he might be making more this summer. You'll have to watch out for it like a hawk though to have any chance of getting one while there are profiteers and hoarders about.

You know, the first Chinese company to make a decent quality, plain tube mod with a similar styling to the Caravela is going to make an absolutely obscene amount of money. Absolutely RIDICULOUS amounts of cash here!

It takes china some time to catch to ecig trends that we create in the west. It's only a matter of time though before this insanity with pricing ends. Seen it happen with mods before time and again. On the caravela forums someone posted a hybrid that the chinese were advertising using the caravela image. It was no vela...but it was a decent looking hybrid on it's own. China is watching. If it was $30, that would be worth trying. All it takes is a good mech mod, switch, and RBA. The rest is cosmetic.
