I haven't been on here in a bit - seems I've lost my old login and all my post count :( So until I get my posts up above 5-10 I can't post this in the eGo hardware forum. I'll give it a try here ..

I've been using the eGo setup for almost four years now. In that time I've tried a variety of batteries and chargers from a few different vendors. Some were original Joytech eGo batteries. Others were (most likely) Chinese knockoffs.

Lately batteries - and chargers - I have bought from Liberty Flights, Mad Vapes, and Virgin Vapes have been cheap and shoddy in quality.

The batteries do not last. They stop holding their charge after only a couple of months or less.

The chargers are simply shoddy - some do not fill up the battery to a nice solid green (the light flickers red to green, sometimes orange). They break, splitting at the seam along the side.

The question for eGo users that know:

Where is the most reliable place to get nice, strong well built batteries and chargers for the eGo. I need to buy asap 'cause the ones I have right now are straight from Shanhai baby: they are gonna die on me any day now.

(ps. I hope I dont have to make 15 posts to get this in the eGo forum :) But I will. Need quality stuff!

Why not go to the actual designer of the Ego, Janty. Joyetech was their manufacturer and sort of stole the product. I'm sure there are a number of places to get Joyetech stuff if you want, but if I were to ever get another Ego type device I'd go with Janty. https://usa.janty.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=52&Itemid=177 I have'nt bought an Ego of any kind recently, so I'm not considering price here, but if what you're getting is failing left and right anyway, why keep buying them. Janty has their own manufacturing facilities.
