Hey guys, I recently got a replacement charger for my ego batteries and the thing was working fine for about a week. I recently took a short trip and tossed the charger in my backpack. For some reason now when I plug in my ego batteries completely there is no change in the light indicater, or in the battery. Usually the light would go from green to red, and the battery will flash, but now nothing on either end. I had looked at some other posts and suspected that maybe my charger was not making contact with the battery, so I pulled out the center pole slightly, but I get the same result.

Any help on the matter would be great, I would hate to have to order yet another ego charger and risk having the same problem again.

HI Alexvac, My eGo USB chargers sometimes get a little cruddy and I have had this very issue happen. It seems like some residue has collected in between the center positive output and the negative. I simply put a little bit of alcohol(the kind you put on a cut) on a corner of a simple rag and wipe the contact surfaces down on the charger side. I have yet to replace a charger(~2yrs). ALmost every time this will be enough to allow them to make contact and allow the charger to see the battery once again. Hope that helps. Good Luck. Happy vaping.
