Been vaping just over a week, its working for me and want something better than the cheap starter kit that I am on, which looks cheap and nasty lol (even if its working), want personalized cool equipment that I will be comfortable using, but dont understand any of it, have been window shopping and seen the sort of thing I want, but have no idea where to start to build my own, which is good reliable makes and what to do when I have all my bits to put together, can anyone tell me the best threads already on this forum for me to look at so I can go to next stage of buying and building. Am still getting the hang of all the terms as well so need easy to understand.

Hello and welcome to the forum Cazzie. Glad to have you here!:)

If you are looking for an upgraded setup here are some possible options for you to consider:

A variable v/w (twist/spinner) is usually recommended over a "non variable v/w" battery. It allows you to adjust your settings to get a better "vape". Some flavors taste better at higher voltages than 3.7v

1. JoyeTech Ego-C Twist
2. Vision Spinner
3. Innokin iTaste vv v3
4. Innokin iTaste MVP v2 or MVP 20 watt (the latest edition)
5. eLeaf iStick

The first 3 are fall into the "ego style" category of battery (with variable voltage). They range in size from 600mah to 1300mah. The higher the mah the longer the battery will last between charging.

The 4th & 5th ones are a step up from an "ego style" battery in that they are smaller variable v/w box mods with a very big battery (2400-2600mah). It will last many vapers a whole day before it needs recharging. The MVP is probably one of the most popular batteries for someone upgrading from an "ego style" battery. The iStick is newer but it too is very popular.

I suggest buying only name brand Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner ego batteries. BTW, "ego" is merely a type of battery, not a brand name. Buying "generic" ego batteries is always going to be hit or miss...mostly miss.

You will need to purchase a tank (the juice attachment). The mini Nautillus, mini Aerotank or regular size Aerotank (all made of glass & all have adjustable airflow control) are very popular.

Why would you want a glass tank (you may be thinking to yourself)? Here is a great resource regarding "tank cracking" eliquid by ECF member Baditude: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Already know about tank cracking, I been doing lots of reading, have a funny feeling this is more addictive than analog smoking as have spent more time on this forum and window shopping all the pretty mods online than on fb or reading (and I am a chronic bookworm) lol, at mo in middle of reading you know you're a Vaper on here and am worried how many I agree with when its only been over a week!!! Thank you

Hi Cazzie.

I can help you with advice, it would be an honour as one ex-Westbourne guy to a local person....

Trouble is, I'm out to a party.

Have a look around on here.

Myepack.co.uk

I can find a one-off discount code for you if you like...

here is good too, better shop, but a little more expensive on some things.

Vape Escape

I don't know what shops there are in Portsmouth or Chichester, but beware of some shops because they will rip you off terribly.

My current favourite is an eleaf iStick with a mini Nautilus tank. Totally Wicked (the shops) do a similar one called "Curve".
