I originally posted this in the DIY forum but decided to start another thread here with my results since it applies to all ejuice.
My original post said that ebay had some cheap (five dollar) ultrasonic cleaners and asked if anyone had tried them. Well, I went ahead and ordered one and have been playing with it this evening. I mixed up a 30 mL batch of an RY4 and poured about 8 mL in each of two little glass bottles. Put one in the ultrasonic cleaner, filled around it with hot water, and turned it on. After an hour, I took it out and put my two samples into identical setups.
There is a definite difference in taste, I can identify each of them with my eyes closed. So I'm pretty sure it's working. I'm not saying that it works as well/will last as long as some of the better units out there but I'm pleased with it so far.
