Im looking at making an order from DX soon and was looking around to see what else they had so I could save some money on shipping if saw anything else I couldnt live without...

700mAh won't properly power a usb pass-through... but it would work fine with the in-line battery type. The pass-through would power off the in-line batt, and the in-line batt would recharge from this device.

Be sure to read customer reviews at DX. The batteries tend to be rated much higher in capacity than what they really are. The size of that thing alone tells me it is nowhere near 12,000 mAh capacity. 1200mAh maybe, on a good day. Take a look also at the customer feedback also for the other battery packs that look like that, they all say the rating is way off. At the bottom of the page is some sort of forum where people ask questions and post answers. There is a thread in there somewhere about that little box actually having two much smaller batteries inside and a piece of metal that serves no purpose other than weight. I was entranced with those little battery packs for awhile, until I started reading. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Ditto. You have to look for 1000ma output. Anything less will not power the usb passthrough so the 12000(?)mah isn't going to matter anyway.

Oh yeh, and read the reviews. They usually tell the true story.

It doesnt state what voltage they were using to get the 12000mah rating

5volts=700mha
.12volts=12000mha

You got yours that fast? I stopped ordering from them after my Oct order arrived at the end of Jan. Some "deals" aren't worth it....

Shipping is free from DealExtreme unless you pay an arm and a leg for their EMS which, from what I have read on their forums, has a greater chance of customs seizing the packages.
The only downside of the free shipping is that you have to wait so long to get your items.
If you really want to buy more, then try some of their e-juices if you are into China juices because they are dirt cheap. Or buy some Li-Ion batts.
