Chemical aftertaste?

Steve and Team -
A question for you....

Has there been a change in your e-liquid ingredients? Maybe I'm alone on this and my taste-buds are just changing but I'm finding an unpleasant chemical aftertaste with just about every juice I've gotten from V4L lately.

I've recently (in the last month) bought or been given as "extras":
Vanilla
Sour Green Apple
Waffle
Cinnamon Roll
Watermelon
Wowboy
Strawberry
Wintergreen
Apple Kiwi Strawberry
Wow Margarita
Butterscotch

The reason I'm wondering if there has been a change is that my favorite juice from any supplier was V4L's Watermelon - and after waiting several weeks for stock I got my some last week and the Watermelon I got has this same aftertaste (that wasn't there in the Watermelon carts or bottles of juice I had before). I almost cried a little when I tasted this batch of my beloved Watermelon! :p

Anyone else noticed this?

If I am reading this OP correctly (Art Moddell most hated man in Cleveland) he has a variety of different bonus cartos along with his order of Watermelon. There maybe a couple of factors at play here, including as was noted a change in taste buds. When I first started vaping there were flavors I really enjoyed, which I no longer enjoyed after a couple of months. Other times I have found that switching between several different flavors in a single vaping session made everything taste bad for a day. I remember specifically vaping some Caffe Mocha Frappe, then switching to Sour Green Apple...a poor decision on my part as I turned a couple different shades of green afterwards.

Given the number of different flavors chances are pretty improbable that they have all have suddenly changed. I'd probably take a break for as long as you can hold out and let your taste buds reset so-to-speak.

Hope it all works out for you and you return to a happy-happy joy-joy vaping place again!

Thanks for the constructive suggestions, SnowDragon... I'll give it a try and lay off V4L e-liquids for a while and see if I can get my taste-buds to "reset" - can't hurt to try. There must just be something in V4L liquids that isn't agreeing with me right now.

Having said that I do have juices from other suppliers that I vape regularly (using the same V4L hardware) that aren't giving me a problem.

Deadlili - it's good to know that I'm not alone! I'm still doubting my own taste buds, tho, since I'm tasting this underlying unpleasantness in a lot V4L juices - both prefilled sample cartos and bottled juices vaped in both new blanks and old, recently boiled cartos. I'm really thinking that there is something being used in the e-liquid (maybe in the nic base?) that is disagreeing with me. And since this thread isn't littered with "me too" responses this must not be effecting everyone like it is me.

I agree with snow. New vapers hae some really odd flavor reactions. Some can't "taste" the flavors, some can't tolerate certain things like P.G. or V.G.. For sometime now I haven't come across any purfume or chemical tastes.
Take your time and come back to the V4L flavorsnow and again..taste change!
You do realize that we don't really "taste" flavors..we smell them (unless you are chugging the juice..don't!) So I would suggest your nose is off...lol
Good luck!

I do realize you aren't new Browns..just passing along some info for the newer people.

Premium Dunhall 24MG. Strong and chemical tasting. Unvapable. I know it is not my tastebuds beacause my prefilled cartoz and old juice taste fine. However, i am suprised that so many flavors are not working for the OP. do you have any older juices to compare?

Lastone...Have you made out a support ticket for your problem. Seems as someone else had a problem with Dunhalls and was asked by Chad to contact customer service and tell them about it.
Maybe they are aware of it and can help you?

That someone else was me. Chad contacted me and I replied but have heard nothing since. That was over 3 weeks ago.

I understand..and maybe I will. It's just that *I* replied to them and then nothing. I even sent a follow up reply asking if they needed more from me. I was promised I'd be "taken care of". I'm starting to wonder what that meant. I'll let myself mellow out some and then see. Thanks for replying! I'm trying hard to not sound too much like a crabby person. LOL

Sorry, Brownsfan! Didn't mean to hijack your thread.
