Any other players of Chess, anyone interested in a game either on Chess.com or FICS? I pretty much suck, buyt I can hold my own sometimes. If you are 2000+ELO, I have no chance, but I learn a lot in losses.

I play chess, but I don't play anything online (sorry).
Like most games, I'm not very good, but I do like a challenge. I'm still looking for a chess program as good as the one I had under CP/M -- set on its highest level but giving it only 1.5 seconds per move made it about even with my skill level. I haven't found anything else that isn't either too easy or too hard.

Yes -- it has the strangest set of boards of any 3-D chess game I've ever seen.
There was also a chess program I had years ago which was great -- it was animated, the pieces walking to their new squares, killing each other, etc. I don't remember the name of it, but the chess scene in Harry Potter had to be based on it!

I believe that was Battlechess. I played it a bunch as a kid.
