I finally got my $27 fasttech Chi You Clone, I couldn't be more pleased on all counts with the exception of that short telescoping adjustment screw. With my "nipple tops" 18650's (Efest Panny 2250's) all is well but with MNKE and Sony 18650 flat tops there is just not enough length on the screw to allow their use. I will have to locate another screw. Again I am really happy with the build on this.
I just measured the voltage between the fire button and the base of my 0.7 Ω Fogger during firing and got almost nothing, 0.05 volts, I'm getting 0.16 volts when checking my GGTS clones
Now you need to get the brass one! I love my SS model, but a little less since I got my brass one. It just hits harder. Actually, to the point that I almost feel that my SS has misteryously developed a problem somewhere. I need a tank-o-meter bad!
I can barely stand to use my FT Ithaka on the SS at only 1 ohm, but it rock and rolls on the brass one. On simple devices like these.....it either fires or it don't. Right? If its firing, could it possibly be losing power somewhere?
