I've had pretty good dealings with e-cig.com too, I get what I order and it always arrives in pretty quick time too.

I do send back my busted parts and get replacements. I save them up and send them back 3 or 4 at a time for about $5.00 postage. I send them back at the same time I put in an order. I always tell the online help that I'm sending back some parts for replacement and arrange for the replacements to be sent with my new order, it's never been a problem.

Any e-misting device I want or any consumable I need has to come to me from overseas. I don't have the luxury of a good local supplier to deal with, so buying globally is not a biggy for me. The outrageous prices some charge for shipping is, so I go with where I'm getting the best bang for my buck, and at the moment that's China.

The best cigar lasted three months and withstood two cleanings. The worst lasted two weeks. I drip exclusively (don't use a cartridge at all), usually using two drops at a time. I go through about 50ml of liquid a month.

We've got quite a few people here at work who've ordered from e-cig and it seems that people who drip get much more vapor and life out of the cigars. Cartridges seem to kill them pretty quick.

thanks jason.. i went for the cigarillo because it was slightly smaller and neater plus it uses the standard classic carts.. i assumed otherwise it would be the same as the cigar.. it uses the same battery..

i have tried eight of the things.. they did seemed to be the perfect "disposable".. but the best i have had out of mine has been one week.. i would say an average of two to three days.. there is something wrong here because there really should be little difference between the cigarillo and the cigar but from what u say there quite clearly is.. perhaps e-cig got lumbered with bad batch of cigarillos..

i drip just like u.. our use does seem similar.. and i am looking for a "disposable"..

i will try the cigar.. if they only last two weeks i would be happy.. the cigarillo shape is neater but they simple just dont work for long enough..

i wont buy a kit just enough spare bits to make a functional one.. if it works i will dare to order a dozen or so..

ps.. they dont seem to work with carts.. the pipes dont either.. with me its a case of having to drip.. bung a cart in and they turn into wimps.. take it out and they work.. the classics do the same.. work far better when dripped.. the pipes are great because they hold ten drops and the batteries last all day.. ..

what address do u send your duff bits back to.. i am gonna do the same collect a bunch and send em back in one go..

if u read the extended guarantee it more or less says as long as u buy your carts from them they are happy to keep sending out free atomizers and chargers for ever..

its not much good for an individual failure but collecting the dead ones and sending a bunch back makes sense..

Hiya trog,

I address them like this;

Returns Department
Cixi E-CIG Technology Inc. Ltd.
No. 145 Danshan N. Rd.
2nd Fl. High-Tech Building
Cixi Zhejiang 315300
China
Phone +86-574-6303 6932

So there are no problems with suggestions of breakages during the return post, I wrap the bits in bubble wrap and post them in a bubble bag.

I also include a note saying which part came from which order and when I received them, plus letting them know the parts had already been replaced with order number xxxxx

It's worked every time for me so far. As I have also said I arrange with the online help to have the replacement parts shipped out with a current order. I add a list of please replace in the comments section of the order, keep it brief it doesn't take to many lines of text before it's full. I also detail exactly what I need replaced, from each previous order to the online help person. That way I'm covering all the bases.

So that's

1. place an order equal to or for 10 packs of carts
2. add in the comments section of the order what you need replaced and from what previous order number you got it.
3. when you've got the new order number, contact online help and tell them you've placed order number xxxxx and requested replacements and give them a detailed list, more detailed than in the comments.
4. pack and post the parts back to them.
5. enjoy the new parts in 5-10 days time
6. repeat from step 1. as required

thanks dude i will follow your example when i get round to doing it.. its nice to know someone has succeed in doing it and it works for them.. anything that keeps long term costs down has to be good..

one other trick that might be worth trying is the gift certificate one.. u buy one to yourself in advance then redeem it against your future orders.. i suggested it to them in their forum they seem to have set it up.. it might help with customs.. i know sending a gift to yourself is a bit dodgy but where bigger value orders are concerned if the custom hit it might lessen the blow..

being hit by customs is a worry with me.. i now keep the order size down even if the postage cost goes up.. i am about to pay £66 to TNT on a £200 pipe order.. not good.. they wanted £100 at first..

E-puff and Heaven_Gifts both have offered me the same kind of deal. Send it back and wait, or order something and they'll include replacements free. It's not that that's a bad deal, or that sending them back is unreasonable. It's just that I have individual circumstances that make a trip to the post office a pain in the ....

I prefer Njoy, SmartFixx, MyECig, and Janty's method; send out the replacement with a self addressed prepaid return envelope I can just pop in a mailbox.

Second best is Smuke and Sedansa, send out the replacement and trust me to send back the bad unit on my own. Course, if I don't I won't get any more in the future. Fair enough.
