Some people like the chinese juice, others don't. The China juice is often cheaper so if you can find a flavor you like it'll save you some $$$. As far as safety, some say US juice is safer, others say there's no difference. As you can see there's not a whole lot of agreement on this subject.

Which type of liquid gives more vapor? A higher % of VG will increase vapor production.

I don't know if you're aware of Route 66 Vapor but they're located in Albuquerque. You might want to see what they've got available. There's email addresses on the "Contact Us" page.

I'm just starting out so I can't really say anything about the differences, but personally, I simply don't trust any Chinese made products that are meant to go into my body. I don't know what kind of quality control if any they have on Chinese made juices. US made juice might be more expensive, but I'd rather pay extra for knowing that something is made in the US by people who care. Plus, I would much rather give my money to a company that's in the US.

Again this is just my opinion.

Nice thought and yes I do not buy directly from china but I would guess the majority of the juice vendors are buying there nicotine in bulk directly from china as to get a good enough price to be profiatble! Not to mention your PV was made in china and your atty and if your using a box mod your battery case, voltage regulator, batteries and charger and almost all of it is made in china!
Basically I like the idea of supporting a us based business but realize they are mostly just a redistribution center that's putting a markup on chinese based products! LOL

That would mean you would have to figure out a way to vape without using an atomizer - they are all made in China.

Some eliquid suppliers here in the US make it in their kitchen. I would guess one is as safe as the other. I've never had a problem with any liquid from China or the US.

The Chinese juice is usually 100% PG which is very thin and lets through the most harshness of nicotine and therefore the best TH. Too much harshness for me - nicotine is a skin irritant. After a while my tongue would get numb and sore like after you drink way too hot coffee or cocoa. Some people get sore throat or even sore lungs. PG also makes the least persistent vapor - it may all be gone when you exhale.

Sometimes you can also find Chinese 100% VG juices - VG is very thick and makes more visible and more persistent vapor but smoothes out the vape a a lot and dulls the flavor. Also for both the PG and VG Chinese juices, many of the flavors are very basic - they mixed one commercial flavoring with the nicotine and PG. Some are good, some are not. But for my vaping desires, all suffer from being all PG or all VG.

Most US juice mixers offer PG/VG blends. I like around 70pg/30vg when I can get it. Still lets through enough TH and flavor but has enough VG to smooth it out a bit so it doesn't make my tongue or throat sore. Some prefer 80/20 which has more TH. Some like 60/40 or 50/50 which are smoother. Some who want a very smooth vape or are allergic or overly sensitive to PG vape high VG or all VG juices.

The US blenders offer both basic and hand-mixed more complex flavors of tobaccos, desserts, drinks etc. Some extract their own flavorings and have really unique juices. Many US juice vendors offer choices of PG/VG base - from a few choices to all choices.

there are tons of threads on this subject. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...n/164021-where-your-juice-really-comming.html is a recent one that is still active bottom line there might be a few major nicotine suppliers in the US that don't source from a foreign country but they aren't selling a lot into the e-juice market. the "made in USA" means mixed in USA with perhps the PGVG base (the majority of the product by volume/weight) is from USA but the key ingredients that differentiate suppliers, flavoring and nicotine can come frm just about anywhere. That said in response to OP the "USA" suppliers are much more spscialized and creative with flavoring. If yyou have a yen for just about any food which is made with artificial flavors and quite a few natural ones you will find someone selling it as made in the USA --the chinese stuff is very generic (but actually i really like a cheapo %100 PG china sourced juice menthol/mint)

If you want to create jobs in the us or some other political or social aspiration don't let's kid ourselves that vaping is going to be the breakthrough industry. this is a made in china phenomena.

almost ready to get a new bottle/flavor of e-juice, now is there a difference or preference between the made in china stuff and the made in USA stuff? Is the USA liquid safer?? is there a type of liquid that gives more vapor ?

I have no data to suggest one, or the other, is safer.

My only experience base with "Chinese" e-juice is the usual "USA Mix", or Marl Bros, or dirty dish water flavor. And oddly enough, they got it right. I can compare this with products from Johnsons Creek, their Original And Tennessee which have qualities similar to tobacco, but without that smoke flavor. Or a product like "Turkish" from Juicy Vapor which mimics that perfume which is somewhere between smelly feet and cat urine.

You do realize that there are currently no regulated quality control in usa made juices either right? The juice you buy online is mixed by someone who started vaping, mixing their own juices, then set up a business name and website and mix for the public. They aren't overseen by anyone or have any standards or cleanliness rules to adhere to.

Not that I have a problem with that. Their reputations are what I go by. Many juice suppliers are fantastic and meet the quality standards of their own free will. I'm just saying that for e-liquids there is no difference in quality control between the two countries. But i'm all for buying anything usa made first :)

I'm not from USA, and I'm not from China either. And I use & love both of them. I vape some creamy, or fruitty e-juice from US (apple, peach, irish cream, capucinno) and tobacco flavors from China (Plain Tobacco, USA Mix, 555). I don't know if RY4 is a tobacco flavor or not, but IMHO, the best RY4 flavor is from Healthcabin, a china based retailer. Healthcabin's RY4 has a great throat hit, great vapor, and a distinct 'burnt sugar' on the exhale. China e-juices tends to give me better throat hit because they are PG based, usually I mix them with a blank VG to soften the harsh feeling. US e-juices are smooth, but far less throat hit because they blends PG & VG together. I don't know which one is safer, lately I've read about Diacetyl in some flavoring products, some US e-juices uses those flavoring. So.. is it safe? I don't know. What I know is: at least I put lesser poison to my body by vaping. Vaping: 10+ poisons (maybe... I'm a noob, so this is just my stupid assumption) vs. Analog: +400 poisons (or is it 4000??)
