LOl - We're the neighborhood people bring their kids in from the country to TOT. Well, not as much since the subdivision next door took off - it's bigger with better candy! Heck, DS#3 (12) is going TOT in the other subdivision with his friends who live there. #2 is going to chaperone them (he's 15 and too old to TOT)
I will (weather permitting) be sitting in the neighbor's drive way, eating chili and enjoying a firepit while the kids hit out buckets and bowls for candy. I'm in cu-de-sac with 8 houses - so we just camp at the one with the flat driveway and set up a pot luck in her garage. This year will be odd, since 1 couple has now divorced (final yesterday) and He is not on speaking terms with 1 of the other neighbors (he's a douche) (wonder if that passes Hal the editor's cursing filter)
Fun times in the burbs. lol
DH is not happy to miss Halloween. He knows #3's TOT days are limited. Watching them grow up is bitter sweet when you KNOW some of the childhood stuff is almost over.
I don't even want to know what #1 is doing...he claims he's going to be studying and doing endless physics homework.
He called - actually CALLED on the phone - the 1st time since he left in August...to thank me for his Halloween box o'goodies.

Score one for mom!
