OK, got my latest crave going on..

Coconut and Caramel wrapped/dipped in Chocolate..

Got the Coconut and Caramel perfect (after the 3rd try), but just can't quite get the Chocolate thing.

What I have to work with:

TFA Chocolate
TFA Double Chocolate Dark
TFA Milk Chocolate
FW Chocolte Mint - this has worked best so far, but the mint just don't belong

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

1. You posted in the wrong thread. You would have a better chance of getting answers if you posted in the DIY thread. This thread is for recipes only. Like it says at the top of the sub-forum first page.

2. You could use Capella's Chocolate Fudge Brownie starting at 10%.

3. TFA chocolates need higher % and also need to steep longer than other flavors, like for two weeks or more.
So don't give up on the chocolate, just let your juice steep an then try it. You'll taste the difference right away. :)

Your first mistake is the TFA flavors. Use the hangsen flavors. Spicifically the hangsen coconut (true coconut taste) the chocolate cream (Rich and creamy chocolate taste) and the hangsen caramel (Use spairingly very potent).

Mix
7% coconut
3% chocolate cream
1% caramel (May need to experiment with this)

I recommend a 50/50 or higher VG base and lower the NIC to 12mg or there will be to much throat hit. (I usually do 18mg) My base was 75vg/25pg.

Just mixed some myself last weekend substituting the caramel for hangsen vanilla and it is Sooo good. If you have the TFA vanilla swirl that is also a good substitute. I also added a little koolata which gave it a nice chill. So as you can see there's a lot you can do with this mix. It's all personal preference.

Thanks again Danny.. got my order in for those. Now the wait for them to get here, then mix, then wait again for steep.. sigh

I'm doing 15mg @ 75/25 right now.. got a shipment from myfreedomsmokes yesterday with the intention of cutting back to 10mg.. long range goal is to be at 5mg by next Christmas..

and yes on the Koolada, a couple drops of that makes most of my boo-boos tolerable and cuts down on waste.. maybe order that by the gallon next time I need it..

So you are happy with your combination of caramel and coconut? That was a hard one for me to get tasting right, so congratulations on that part. I ended up with TFA's Coconut Candy, because the exhale taste with regular coconut was just too dry. I combine that with Caramel Candy. You can probably tell I have a sweet tooth.

I've been messing around with so many chocolate flavors, it's just ridiculous. My best plain chocolate mixes include Cocoa from FlavourArt with TFA's Double Chocolate (I use the clear). The Cocoa is superb for mixing. It smells mouth-watering, it's a very dry, dark cocoa flavored vape, and the vapor smells divine. I get no weird flavor notes with it, and it steeps fast. I use it in mixes, but I can't vape it alone (5% is the right percent; it's just too dry for me). A mix of FA Cocoa, any good caramel, and Nature Flavor's organic coffee is way good!
Sorry to wander off the topic, but perhaps something useful for someone into these flavors.

hear ya on the sweet tooth.. I'm happy with with my caramel / coconut and it's pretty close to Danny's..
using TFA coconut candy @ 5% and TFA caramel original at 1%.. anymore than 1 % and the caramel takes over..

right now I have 13 samples of 5ml steeping or maturing or aging or something and they are all sweets.. just had 3 failures of the caramel, coconut, chocoate come off a 10 day steep and decided to ask for help.

But the failures are not a total loss.. mixed them together, added 3 drops of menthol and 3 drops of koolada and it's actually not to bad.. wouldn't try to make my million selling it but it's not bad.. how it rolls with the morning mug of maxwell house is yet to be seen..
