I know in the end this is all up to me but.........I really want a Silver Bullet, I just can't decide between the black chrome, silver chrome or black coated. Anybody want to help me choose/decide? Also why is it that they say they only recommend a 18650 2400 mah and then say a 2600 mah but when you look at the options available in the ordering area they only show 2000 mah and 3100 mah? I know the differences but it don't make sense that they would say so many contradictory things. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

I got a white SB a few months back. I've used AW ic protected 3100 mah and AW imr 2000 mah (not protected but safer chemistry battery) in it. I use the imr because that is what I use with my variable voltage APV (a Provari with ext. cap) so they both use the same battery and I don't have to pack different batteries with me.

Use any mah battery and either ic or imr battery in your SB as long as the brand is AW or Efest. I don't trust any other brands except Panasonic. I don't trust any batteries with the name "trust" in them. I get my batteries from RTD Vapor. Check them out and compare prices. RTD Vapor

Jeffy I just got an IBtanked carto tank and it's been flawless with the Boge's I just got. The price was pretty good too from the research I did and found on pyrex tanks. Just FYI.

Ray D I'm a gun nut too and I like that it's all black. I really like them all and like the black chrome and silver chrome but the shiny seems like it would get all finger printed up which is what brought the black coated into the mix. This will likely be my at work in my pocket all day vape and I try not to grab my PV with dirty hands but sometime the insides of my pockets get sand (abrasive from water jets) in them which makes me wonder/worry about the chrome ones a bit.

tnt that's one of my favorite things too, no misfires in my pocket when I lean against the side of a water jet tank. So you like it with the two different blacks huh? I'm not sure if I will end up kicking mine, but it's been a consideration. I really like the silver chrome with the silver button but I think I will get tired of cleaning it more than the black ones. Decisions, decisions, decisions lol. Maybe I will just use the mini lavatube at work and the SB outside of work. Hmmmmm

Yes, it's a matter of how much energy is stored vs. how much you use. A low ohm atty is closer to a direct short than a higher ohm atty. Use a 1.5 ohm and it will suck more amperage at the same voltage then a 3 ohm atty will. Ohms law at work.
Best way I found to explain it easily, you only hold so much power in anything. Get a Coleman lantern and three propane tanks, each tank holds the same amount of energy. Turn the lantern all the way up and it lasts for a couple of hours then you are out of propane. Turn it on half way and it will burn for about six hours then you are out of propane. Turn it down to a glow and it will burn all night long.
If you want a hot burn, you will need a lot of batteries.

I have the chrome one, it's three years old. It shows some wear around the base, but if you polish it, it will look almost as good as the day I pulled it out of the box. I don't think you can polish a painted SB.

Oh did I say, it's my work horse, I use it almost every day. I'd recommend getting a Kick and the tube extender. However, I kind of like the size without the tube extender, so I use the 18500 vs the 18650.
