I bought the ego c twist and am loving it but my wife wants one and so I am wanting to get me something else I have watched a lot of YOUTUB reviews on many different mods but there mostly trying to sale what there promoting and haw much can I rely on those videos would rather here from you all on what you would recommend to a new comer like me jazon1 on here recommended my ego c twist and he was right on the money so I chose to turn to you all again. So here's the deal I am looking for something durable and reliable with variable volt, variable watt and a ohms checker and a battery checker but I only have around $65-$75 to drop on this I have imr 18650,18350 batteries. Can yall recommend a good working mod for me I am planning on using a good rebuildable atomizer on it in the future when I can afford to get the one I want. Thanks

If you don't mind waiting until mid January there is a Co-Op Interest Thread for the new(er) CVI. 18350/18650 mod with VV, VW, resistance and voltage checking. Thread is here.

The estimated price for one of the 18650 is $32 +/-.

You'll need to become a verified member as i recall to join in on Co-Ops but its simple enough, just requires some paypal info and a PM to the appropriate person.

That or the VAMO as Rule mentioned.

That was my strategy. Save for that one first. But not everyone wants to wait, and truthfully, if not for my wife giving me the go ahead to break my vape budget for Christmas and get one, I'm not sure I would have waited another 6 weeks or so. I might have broke down and just bought a Vamo.

For the OP's budget, a Vamo fills his need nicely. If, that is, he's impatient and doesn't want to wait.

If you want the most durible, reliable, variable volt with ohm checker it's the ProVari! The only thing is it doesn't have a VW option and it costs more than you want to spend. It's a good investment though!!! Good luck finding the perfect mod for you. Maybe the Vamo is more in your price range and has everything your looking for as far as features go.

yea the provari's are great if you can afford one but like mentioned then dont have adjustable wattage i would absolutely love it if they updated them to have VW i would buy a new one considering i haven't touched my provari since i got my first zmax lol its just to convenient to have wattage settings and not have to worry about what ohms you are sticking on the device:)

I just bought one, so with my usual luck, a VW version should be coming in 3...2...1...

lol i know i just got mine right before the zmax came out and only used it for about two weeks before putting it on early retirement,
i might take my buddy up on his offer to buy it from me for $100 i can just put that towards a provari with VW when and if they come out anytime soon.

I'd go with a Provari. I just bought my second one a few days ago and am waiting for it in the mail now. They also have a bunch of them on clearance right now so it's a good time to save a few bucks on one.

I get the whole VW thing, but don't see why it's such a factor for some people. It only takes a few seconds to figure out what voltage to set a Provari to so that you get the watts you want. Maybe I've just been doing the VV thing for long enough that I don't really have to think about it.
