Would be nice to see some pictures of his progress. But, since he is "not able to post on ecf" i guess that is out of the question.

The main concern here, IF YOU GET YOU device'S BACK... is, ummmmm how long have all of these device's been sitting without being charged??????? Might end up with a pretty paper weight or a good ole Chopper souvenir?????

Of course, if Chopper would have done the work and returned the device's as promised, this would not even be a thought right about now.

We wait...

This looks like good news. I heard from Chopper. Keep in mind, I was one of the very first people to place an order with Chopper that went unfilled (started choosing colors last March). He is working. I have 4 devices with Chopper and yesterday (sorry for the 1 day delay to post - I was traveling yesterday) I received this update. Here are pics of 2 of my 4 devices.

Chopper says he can see this thread but cannot post. He is trying to contact ECF to see if that can be changed. He did tell me that he saw some posts of people claiming to have emailed him and received no replies. He says he has not received emails from those people (or some of them). I'd suggest: if you have devices and money (and ONLY those with devices and money with him) send him another email to re-establish contact. It seems like he is very serious about getting these done and out to people.

I STRONGLY encourage those who do not have work with Chopper to stay out of this and do not email him. Granted, this was no fun for anyone - Chopper included. But, as I said in my last post, those uninvolved posting and sending emails, hate-mail, threats, accusations, etc - make it worse for those of us with work waiting. While there is no excuse for the lack of communication - sometimes "stuff" does happen and things go badly. We all know this went badly and nobody needs those uninvolved to convince anyone of anything. While all are entitled to their opinions, those uninvolved need to realize that they are not helping - it is just more emails he has to read and that takes time away from work. Criticisms, accusations, etc - valid or otherwise (and especially from any uninvolved) - ALWAYS worsen the recipients attitude. Those who have work with Chopper want him focused and positive - especially if this IS an indication he is re-focused and working to get these out.

So, can we PLEASE lay off the "scam" and other accusations and give Chopper a chance to clean this up. It looks like he is working:

sorry for going off topic here, but ...

in what world would any electronic device ever suffer a failure from not being charged for any length of time? Sure the battery may or may not slowly discharge but that does not efffect the device it self. In fact to test this idea i pulled a very old Star tac cell phone out of the closet and plugged it in for a couple minutes. It light right up with no issues...its been in the closet almost 10 years.

My LiPo battery's for my rc cars have to be drained to a certan point before storing for winter or they are useless and will lose all charging capabilities. Just sayin!! The mods will be fine but ill bet the Darwin battery's might suffer.

Just got an email yesterday (sorry I work nights) with pictures of my Reo completed.

It might be a slow process, but things are looking good.

Ya I have received periodic e-mails too......so what ! I want to receive some snail mail with my wifes Prodigy V1,which by the way can not be replaced.

This guy is just UN-believable,sends e-mails to rub salt in the wound, then disappears again. Is there anything legally speaking a person can do ?

As ya'll get your mods back post up some pics and show'em off.....always like seeing great looking mods....:toast:[

I will be very surprised to see any pics......

Yea, I posted that when it seemed to me some progress was being made. I'm fairly certain some specific individuals got theirs back and have the "decency" not to post any pics.

I have gathered quite a bit of info and am currently pursuing other options. DONE being "Understanding".

We had a similar problem on a pinball forum I'm on. The people involved called his local states attorneys office one by one. They happily got involved and sent him a letter letting him know if they got any more calls they were going to get involved and start pressing charges. Packages started going out at record speed. I didn't read the whole thread but from the first couple pages it sounds like you are at this point.

Has anyone actually called his police department or DA?

Woodstown Police Department 856-769-1330 or 856-769-2121

Yes...they are suppose to contact me in a few days...we will see. It just sucks,I have been VERY patient. Even gotten periodic e-mails from him, saying sorry and he needed my address to "send it right out". I even offered to send him the money to send it. Nothing though in about a month.... Done
