May I suggest you all get what you want to do figured out, study what can be done legally before you all head off for a lynching. If you dont to things right this can all turn out really ugly with someone getting hurt. It is an awful thing to have happened, but do this right and do get some sort of legal information. Either go to your local police dept or the dept where he is. Do NOT go to his house, tempers might flare. If he is a conman, he might be dangerous if confronted, you never know. You all sound very angry and if he is in some trouble he might not be in the most reasonable mental state.
I did a search and found his website, why doesnt someone use that contact email and play stupid and ask him if he can do something for you and find out if he is still taking jobs. If he is, that document it all, where he says to send it and report it to the police. Do not take it into your own hands, again it can all backfire on you, making threats on this site can constitute as a "terrorist act" Let the law take it in their hands. Cool down, think clearly and seek the law to get your possessions back.

Yes, on August 16th he became friends with 5 new people, and on August 12th he liked Samsung Mobile USA. He is alive, well, and clearly able to access the computer and bs on facebook. This is the message I emailed and messaged him on facebook:
"So this is the deal Mike, or should I say Chopperguys, I'm tired of you ignoring my PMs on ECF. You stole from me and many other trusting individuals on the forum and we're owed answers, our mods, and our money. We're all expecting full refunds, our mods, and a tracking number by Monday, August 27th. If you do not respond to my message, I will be forced to arrange other means of getting in touch with you. I don't want this situation to escalate any further than it already has."
What I did not include in my message was that I will be giving our friend a call tomorrow evening to check in with him, and if I don't get the answers I'm looking for, the next call he receives will be from John T. Lenahan, Mr. Turin's local district attorney :D
I'm out for blood here guys...I'm resolved to the fact that I might never get my mods back, but I'll be completely satisfied with Mike spending a night or two in jail and the knowledge that a 19 year old took the steps to put his thieving ... in there.
Is there any activity on his Facebook in the timespan he says he was unable to get on the forum and update members as to the status of their gear? That would make a serious dent in the communication portion of his story.

Yes, you make an extremely good point. I didn't want to suggest that I'd be making a house-call or anything of that sort...if anything, I'd send him a letter expressing how upset I was and how I wanted my mods back. It is vital for everyone to stay totally legally infallible in this situation! I hope this doesn't have to come to a legal proceeding, but after I make a few calls tomorrow morning, I will have a firm grasp on what the safest course of action in this situation is. I've waited for 6 months, so I can wait for a few more if need be.

That's risky. Let's see what a phone call to his place of residence and threats of legal action will do for our cause before taking any of this into our own hands.
I didn't read the whole thread, nor is any of this a concern to me, but someone must live near the guy, or know where he can be found in person. Bickering back and forth on message boards and emails won't solve much. Pay the effin guy a visit in real life and settle it.

That's why you should read the thread next time before you comment, this has been done to no avail.

I don't feel there would be a need for him to post if his real intent was to keep everything. He would have been long gone by now.

Him posting is probably the best start for everyone who sent him stuff.

Agreed. We shall see--and if it pans out ok, forgiveness should be on the table.

I hope this person does indeed send everyone their mods back, please keep us updated on if he follows through with this statement of intent. If no one recieves their property within 2 weeks I would still go to this persons prosecutor. Don't get lulled into a false sense of comfort by a simple reassurance of intent, make sure the pressure of legal action remains until all properties have been returned.
