Seaweedshark, I had a Don and if you have an SS one I would say polished if you have an AL one I would go powdercoat. Just my:2c:

That is some damn good advice. Unfortunately I was in such a "mod-rush" to get a Don that I snagged the first one I could because I know they go fast. Long story short, she's Aluminum. I know Stainless Steel polishes up nice and wish I got the SS Don but I'll probably have to go powder-coated now.

I have a RS, and the top is SS and the long tube is AL. Chopper polished both so well, the whole thing looks chrome...mirror finish. So although the above is fair advice, don't think you couldn't go polished and be more than happy.
