Jeff,

Seems to be an unwritten rule that posting a bad experience with a vendor is frowned upon. (at least on ECF) Only good experiences are met with open minds. Read almost any thread that was started by an unhappy customer and you will see the same reaction.

If your facts are correct I think you should share it with the community. The fact that USPS tracking is worthless is beside the point.

I commend you for having the courage to voice your experience and take the inevitable flack for doing so.

Also I agree with your re-posting here so the supplier can respond, even though after 8 hours he has not chosen to do so.

Thank you.

And while he hasn't responded here....he did respond to me with another angry e-mail, to which I responded to him privately with a few choice words of my own. Apparently his reputation as a calm, level-headed saint is not quite the reality.

Jeff it appears you are understandably upset based upon the facts you stated. But I think IMO it's time to let it go as far as the forum goes. I hope that MFS would have responded on the forum to quash this once and for all, but then again that may just make things worse as I believe you will be made out to be the bad guy as stated above. I think that a lot of the regular posters here as stated above frown upon a continued issue like this. IMO I believe you got your point across, were able to vent your frustration (rightfully so based upon your stated facts) but let it go! I get worked up myself about these type of issues and had one early on with a vendor and though I believed I was right, my continued posts complaining about the vendor made me appear to be a "basher" when I just wanted to get a lack of service complaint across. To date, that vendor still hasn't opened or responded to my pm's now almost 2 months old. but no big deal as I look back upon it now as I moved on and deal with a lot of reputable vendors who are very patient with me despite me being a pain in the ... at times. Take care and Happy vaping!

Frowned upon by whom?

I would have let it go a long time ago, but it seems some people have decided to turn this into a bash-Jeff fest. I have a right to defend myself.

Don't get me wrong Jeff, and I believe in defending my opinion as you do. Bashing you doesn't get to the end result of addressing the original problem, probably a way to just keep themselves amused or for some defending a vendor justly in their opinions. But really at this point I don't believe the vendor is going to resolve the issue and make things right for you, at least not on the forum. Again take care and happy vaping brother, life is to short to let things brew forever. Peace and good nite!

Probably the best thing to do at this point is wait and see if Chris responds here. He may, he may not, and since this is his subforum, he can close or delete this thread. That is why we created the supplier reviews forum so such complaints can be aired without being deleted....AND the supplier can respond there.

This could go on all night with no resolution and if it turns into a insult/name calling fest, warnings/infractions are going to end up being handed out. So for all's sake, it might be wise to just let it go for tonight and see if Chris responds tomorrow. I imagine he will.

It's possible the sale brought on an overwhelming response he might not have expected and he's just really bogged down....perhaps making him a little testy too. I'm certainly not condoning what he might have said to you but just trying to put it into some other perspective. As I said, I haven't gotten an email confirmation either. Thankfully I was not in dire need of the juice, or I might be upset about that as well.

But as I said, going on and on about it at this point, without Chris's input, if pretty much futile. I don't think we really want this to turn into an all out battle now, do we?

So why don't we just all relax and see what Chris does with this tomorrow?

Thanks,
Lu

OK...I'm pretty much over it by now anyway. Thanks for your input.

Frowned upon by people who don't want to see their favorite vendor be characterized as anything less than a saint is my guess. Or people who just like to bash people for no reason.

Sorry Jeff....the "at least on ECF" part threw me. This happens whenever a supplier has a large 'following'....kind of like 'the nature of the beast', if you will.

You have a right to complain....and they have a right to defend....as long as it remains civil and doesn't lead to 20 pages of useless drivel. I think I made my point in my last post anyway.

Thanks,
Lu

I couldn't agree with this post more. It should be a "sticky" in every supplier or review section.

Too many people in these forums act like they are druggies defending their dealer instead of consumers buying a product. Not all customers are treated equal. Some get freebies thrown in, some don't. Some get bad juices, some don't. Some get told off, some don't. The proof is in the other threads here and elsewhere.

One thing is certain.... anyone attacking someone else because they had a bad experience and have the courage to share the information is certainly in the wrong.

I believe i just suggested to let it go, didn't I? What resolution to the OP's problem could your post possibly offer? All it does is fuel the fire here.

Looks like this thread will just be closed now....not because of the OP but because one thing that's NOT going to happen here is...this is going to get derailed into some 'what suppliers should and should not be doing' thread in this supplier's subforum.

Got it? Good!

Good night folks.

Lu
