Okay, so on mine when I look down in the atty connector, I can see a screw with an o-ring directly below it. Is this not correct? From what you're saying, it sounds like I should see a washer, which I do not.

Also, none of the three IKV 306 atties I've been rotating will fit on this. They start to screw in but only get a few threads down and completely bind up.

I'm not familiar with the 306. Does that thread into the 510 cap?

Both of my caps are 510s. I'm not sure if the rest of them have a washer. The washer on the new caps are black and hard to differentiate from the o-ring by just looking down the hole. The washer should push down on the o-ring and compress it so no fluid gets through. I knew something was up with mine when I unscrewed a carto and the screw was leaning to the side. It was easy to wiggle the screw around with my screw driver as well.

I was able to free up the rough 510 threads by threading the offending adapter in and out several times. With an extra cap on hand I was able to throw caution to the wind. You might want to proceed a bit more carefully.

I've been keeping track and rotating tops and bottoms and still seeing the same thing - top one discharging before the bottom one.

ok, just died on me again, whats going on is its draining one of the batteries flat, the 2nd still has 3.3, so the red light stays on, but does not hit
so tripping the protection on the battery somehow3.3

Did you guys check to make sure the positive wire was secure to the bottom of the cap?

You can inadvertently break loose the bottom screw by fiddling with the top one(or the cap)

Hmmm....Now all you guys have me worried.I changed my order to brass caps to avoid problems but now it seems other issues are popping up.Seems to me like BuzzKill is "good people" so I will hang in there and see how this turns out.Maybe I will get lucky and mine will have no issues.

In any case we will make sure it is RIGHT ! jk , I have told my employees to test the caps and tube together FIRST to make sure they are OK .

Meanwhile, back at PI's ranch, I'm watching all the back-and-forth and vaping happily away. I put in a new, fully-charged set of batts in after I'd unwrapped Big Blue at about 5 PM on Friday. They died at 9:00 AM this morning (minor point, but I'd left the master switch on and LED gleaming for the duration).

I can live with that.

Okay - I changed out batts again last night at 11:30, slept for 6 hours or so and have been using the same set today since I got up at 7am. So far so good with the vaping. The set I put on the charger when going to bed came off the charger 4.8 and 4.7 this morning. I think the set I'm using now did charge for 3 hours or more but can't remember for sure.

I checked under the cap and it's attached to a black wire. I see red wire but don't see it attached to the cap. This was the first time I had unscrewed the top cap.

Second, for some reason I've started having trouble with my hit button. It doesn't always fire now like it was it did when I got Friday into Saturday afternoon.

I feel like such a dummy.

So the batts came of at 4.7 and 4.8 volts ??? if so something is WRONG !!! they should not be over 4.25 volts MAX .

Is there a wire attached to the bottom of the cap ? if so make sure it is tight ( dont kill it ! hold the metal term. while tightening ) then ( if it is a 510 ) loosen the top screw 1/4 turn , put the top back on and tighten the top screw .

BTW you are not a dummy ! LOL :vapor:

In any product there are a few that for one reason or another don't perform as they're supposed, it's just how mass production is. But there really aren't that many notcig PV's percentage wise that fall into that category. One thing you can rest assured of is that their customer service is without a doubt the best there is, bar none. I have been using their PVs since day one and there are no better PVs for the money and no better customer service either. For the record I'm not a fanboy, I'm just giving you the facts.

Ooops, me forgot zeros in there - 4.07 and 4.08 which is still real low for being fully charged and left on the charger for 6 hours or so.

Okay, I unscrewed the cap again carefully after loosening the top screw in the top of the cap (I do have a 510 connection) and took a closer look. The red wire indeed is attached - there is a black cover over the red wire which is what I was seeing. It seems to be tight but I know nothing about stuff like this.

After I put the cap back on and tightened it down, I rescrewd the screw inside the top cap until tight, right? I need to get a smaller screwdriver that will fit the way it's suppose to I guess. :D

Ok, I had 2 set of batts with the same problem, one lasted 4 hrs the other 10 min right after. Both cases the front bat was 0v and the other nearly fully charged. These are flame jackets I've used for about a month. After cleaning up my BP, I noticed top cap's top and bottom screws were a little loose. I just snugged them up and have been vaping for 5+ hrs without a glitch. Just metered front and back at 3.87v...... Problem fixed :)

Its not uncommon for them to come off less than 4.2. Its actually not bad. If you get a expensive Pila charger it cuts out at something like 4.1 which they claim extends batt life?

I have the charger that comes with the Buzz kit so that is what I'm using. It's a wf-138.

So now to figure out why my activate button doesn't work everytime I push it now. It was and then last night it stopped. It's like it has a sweet spot for it to activate. And sometimes it gets stuck under the edge of the opening and stays on after I let go.

Ok we Super glue ( 411 type industrial ) the button in , sometimes the glue will leak around the button , look at it closely around the edges do you see any thing like glue ? if so clear it out this should fix the problem , we designed these so the button is easy to change ( for us ! )
