Well we are seeing some issues with the chrome bottom caps , the on/off switch does not always work on some units ! , the extra buildup of chrome id causing it to make contact all the time .

Do NOT worry the red led that is on all the time draws so little current that the batts would last for about 1 month just sitting there.

I wanted everybody to know about this , the Brass caps work fine. :vapor::vapor:

Most of them have a spot that they will turn OFF , it may be 2 turns but I cannot guarantee this aspect of the design ( I freaking did not test the damn chrome ones in BEta DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH )

Well in your defense youd think they would be the same. I never would have thought about the extra layer lol. I dont see it as a huge deal but always good to keep people informed.

So the red led will stay on all the time even when not in use if the off switch doesn't work? If I can I'll just buy a brass end cap later if it bothers me. I usually take my batteries out of my buzz when not using it, but when the batteries are in it I'm hitting it all the time.. so the led will be on all the time anyway, lol! Hey save yourself some shipping money and put my blue repair in with my 1901 order!! Im gonna try to quit pulling the red wire out.. promise!

#1834 I ordered a chrome top and a brass brass bottom!.... i figured if there was an option, I'd go for it.

Chrome on top so i can see the darker juice contrasted.... and the brass bottom was so when i get another BP i could go the other way around and tell them apart.

Buzz Pro
(Cap color: 901 Pro chrome top cap , Buzz pro tube color: Buzz Pro black , Buzz pro bottom cap color: Buzz Pro bottom cap Brass)
(Expected release date is 18th Jul 2011)

I just hope Lori caught that in the order....

Oops, I spoke too soon in the other thread about my Master switch working perfectly. IT did shut off with a 1/8 to 1/4 turn, but when I turn it a bit more it turned on again or if I tap it or apply any pressure to the endcap it turns on again.

FIX(for anyone that cares): I wrapped the Endcap threads with Teflon tape, being careful to not overlap below the threads thus causing it to not screw on all the way and not completing the circuit. It is a nice snug fit, but not overly so. It turns beautifully and turns off with a 1/8th turn perfectly every time.
