A fully charged battery ( ours ! ) will be 4.2 volts ( +/- .05 volts or so ) a flat battery will be around 3.6 volts .

They are protected so IF the protection trips they go to 0 volts like Marks did , we are going to let it sit a day or 2 and see if it can be recharged ( they come back some times ) .

I've gone through 2 sets of batts. I am finding that the batt nearest to the top goes down to 0 and the bottom battery goes to 3.7 or 3.6 or so. Masybe that's normal. I've never used a mod that took 2 batteries before.

Mark them next time TOP and BOT or ?? and see if it changes next time . new batts can do weird stuff at first .

The top Batt always works harder, that's why they recommend 1a and 1b or such. I mark mine and I think it would work but I can't remember if a or b was top last time

I don't think one should be at 0 and the other at 3+ though, from what I've read.

I had marked mine with magic marker, but by the time I needed to look the markings had wiped off, lol.

The "0" battery isn't really at "0", at least it shouldn't be :), it just tripped the protection circuit on the battery. So, it is more like Battery 1 = 3.6V, Battery 2 = 3.4V but tripped protection so it reads 0V.

sounds like its tripping protection in the battery. That is what mine has been doing. I'm getting like an hour tops on a fresh set, using two different chargers. My old buzz would do that before I repaired the wire. Hope it works itself out because as soon as the pro arrived today I removed the guts of the old buzz to polish the tube(I've been planing this for months).

I found the wire had unscrewed itself from the top cap on mine. Not sure if this was the problem tho.

Also mine arrived with the top cap o-ring above the little washer. It should go o-ring, washer then screw. If yours is like this it could cause problems as the screw can get pushed off to the side.

I'm having problems with my chrome caps as well. I ordered two sets, one bottom cap has bad threads that will not screw in and one top cap has rough 510 threads. I'll send 'em in when my polished buzz gets new internals.

Mark the top s of the battery that way the mark stays there , It seems that some of the batts protection is kicking in now ??? keep an eye on them , if need be we will replace them .

JB I will make sure that they test the caps in the future when extras are sent , New product and production run these things POP up from time to time but we will take care of it for SURE !

I know you will, you've taken excellent care of me in the past.

Didn't intend to rant in the above post, overall I'm thrilled my Pro arrived today:vapor:

Mine seems to be working flawlessly over the last few hours. It was most likely the wire a bit loose causing resistance under load(I had been messing with the cap). In other words, my own dang fault.

F.Y.I. in this scenario your volt meter will lie to you and try to fool you into thinking nothing is wrong.

Okay, so on mine when I look down in the atty connector, I can see a screw with an o-ring directly below it. Is this not correct? From what you're saying, it sounds like I should see a washer, which I do not.

Also, none of the three IKV 306 atties I've been rotating will fit on this. They start to screw in but only get a few threads down and completely bind up.

I've been keeping track and rotating tops and bottoms and still seeing the same thing - top one discharging before the bottom one.

Edit: I start keeping track at what the bottom battery is coming out of the Buzz when the top one is 0.
