well, there's lead in brass.

the chrome plating should protect the brass from leeching. but if there's any damage to the plating and further damage to the brass, then the lead content could be exposed. whether or not this is enough to cause lead poisoning, I do not know.

personally, I dont trust brass. I only use stainless steel, glass, and food-safe silicone.

I know this has been asked before but I'm failing in the search bar. I just ordered a helios clone and found out that the posts are chrome plated brass. What are the dangers of me vamping this device? I usually build around .3 ohms. Should I use this atty? Thanks guys.
I don't trust brass either. Was just reading about 12 pages of the dangers off brass and how much lead is contained in brass.

To my understanding there is definitely some lead in brass which over time can lead to lead poisoning.

Of course, these are my opinions they are based on how I feel.
