I have found that matches impart a sulfur taste that is not very enjoyable to the smoking experience, while a Zippo gives a Kerosene like taste.

IMHO you really need to use:
DAVIDOFF PRESTIGE DUAL TORCH LIGHTER CHINA LACQUER PALLADIUM BLACK - Thompson Cigar

This is a butane lighter and produces the least ammount of off flavors. I cannot describe the difference this lighter can make in your smoking pleasure!

If you get the kit the castle is included. The rich smoking friends part is not included. You have to get those yourself. I've heard rent-a-crowd do good deals on replaceables.

Hi and welcome to the forum! You really came out of nowhere with that question, but it's a good one. Cutting a regular in half is a good way to stealth smoke, but only one half. One half will give you a great experience with lots of TH, but the other will be hindered by the filter and only last 1/2 as long as the half that doesn't have 1/2 of it hindered by the filter hindering it.

I suggest if you cut one in 1/2 take the half hindered by the filter hindering it and save it in a box with other halves hindered by filters hindering them and when you have allott of them you can take off the hindering filters hindering them and roll them together in new paper to make unfiltered wholes without filters hindering half of them. You won't have to cut those in 1/2 for a good experience since they aren't hindered by filters hindering them, but they won't be very good for stealth vaping unless you cut them in half.

Then you need to wrap them in new paper and the paper has to be compatible. If they are BGGTRR-Y33 paper and you buy HGHG-7776 paper it won't be compatible and one side of the halfway lengthwise will burn faster than the other.

No mesh needed. But you will need non-flammable super glue to glue the paper down when you re-roll the paper.
Also - try lightly flaming the paper first to remove contaminants. Get a huge roll of paper - you'll be "lightly" burning a bunch of it.

Every time i try to pick up a cigarette i keep forgetting that I'm not vaping anymore and this happens!

Try to use a more gentle touch, mediocre. Remember, cigarettes are wrapped in paper - they aren't in a metal case like you're used to. It's easy to break them if you're not careful.
If it makes you feel better, when I started smoking, I didn't "get it". I knew that cigarettes have nicotine, so bought nic-free liquid, and would drop it into the end, which as you can probably imagine, made them very hard to light.
Remember, smoking has a learning curve, and is hard work, but the rewards are amazing!

I just found out that the first Zippo lighter was made in 1933. So, these lighters have existed far longer than the recently invented cigarette! Does anybody know what they were origininally intended for? I mean, it is as if they are specifically intended for lighting cigarettes! Isn't that a weird coincidence?

Nah - Cigarettes have been around forever. The first rolling machine was invented in 1880. I believe that's when I started smoking these delectable smoky treats.
