For Sale: Assorted partial cigarettes packs
Price: Best Offer
Buyer pays shipping

Capri ultra lights, approx 12 1/4 cigarettes. Pack in pristine condition. Partial cigarette was trimmed to remove burnt end. No lipstick.

Camel wides, 19 3/4 cigarettes. pack missing cellophane wrapper

Marlboro reds, 8 cigarettes. Pack has a phone number written on it, some pushy vaper trying to get me to switch back.

Salem lights, 12 cigarettes. Pack sustained water damage, accidentally spilled my big gulp on it. Cigarettes have been thoroughly dried in a low temp oven and now have a distinct Dr. Pepper flavor.

Typical noob mistake  lighting the wrong end. That's why unfiltered is the Best way to go.

I hope someone can help, I am trying soooooooooo hard to stick with this smoking thing, but my taste buds are broken, I can't taste anything anymore, food tastes like like crap and I can't smell anything but old smoke on everything, I am so ready to go back to vaping and just give up this smoking thing! I heard FDA is banning smokes any way, any suggestions??? Oh I am using my friends "borrowed" mini cigs, he had a pack in his truck for a year, said I could use them to get started, is this a good set up??

LOL bnrk

I don't think cigs are good after a year. I do believe that if put in a freezer they are good indefinitely. I just read it on the Internet. YMMV

Oh good idea to put them in the freezer! So do you think they will last like forever then? Is anyone stock piling cigarettes in the freezer if FDA outlaws them? bnrk

I had a carton in the freezer, then I got into this vaping kick. I wish I hadn't thrown them out. I should have kept them for backups. *sigh* Live and learn.

Well this pack was partially used and on his dash board, he lives in the FL Keys. I thought maybe the flavor was off, tasted more like swamp water than tobacco, but thought maybe that was normal?? I am so new to this I wasn't sure. So is there anyway to fix the flavor by steeping them?? Would Vodka work?? I think i have some in my purse for medicinal purposes.

i think it depends on whether the pack was left open or closed. But also heat variations for the climate the truck was in, etc. Steeping is a whole different subject.

Maybe you need a blow torch rather than a bic. I bet frozen tho they are very refreshing that is if you can light them!

Somebody told me to freeze them individually in the ice cube tray, but I'm not sure I did it properly because the ice is really hard to light. What am I doing wrong? Anybody know?

You need to get a multi meter and a blow torch. I don't know why, but I heard you need them to be safe.

And for those of you who want to go organic, well that block he is burning is tobacco, molasses and fruit called shisha. Yumm-o and just think how wonderful you will smell when your done.

ETA You can store your tobacco in the water for an extra flavor shot :D

Ok Please read this!!! I think I have a defective cigarette, after I tried soaking one in vodka to steep it, I went to light it and it burts into flames and I almost burnt my eye brows off!!! They should not have this style of cigarette on the market, it is flammable! I am shaking all over as I try to light another to calm my nerves- DAMMMMM not again! someone call the fire dept!!! Anyone see my eyebrows??????

Yeah, these are your only options right now.

But I'm working on a safety mod for driving that will eliminate the need to use two hands for matches - an electronic lighter that can plug into the charger plug in the car. (I'm gonna make a mint!)

So, I think if I work on a holder for this for home use, you could use that on the ice cube too.

Hi,
I just wanted to ask whether my proposed newbie setup is ok?

(a) 20 Benson & Hedges
(b) box of matches

I know that's a bit of a "here today, gone tomorrow" package but would it be enough to get me started?

Or should I go for it and buy a Dunhill pipe and solid gold Dunhill lighter? They have a great warranty and would last me a long time - I've read so much good stuff about them.

What do you think?

:)

I see you've already had 335 replies and it must get confusing so I'm going to reply too...

Are you thinking long term and of all the situations you might be in?
If you play in a band do you want the Keith Richards cig-dangling-from-mouth while playing look? Whenever I try this I get smoke up my nose and in my eyes and start crying. This is good for the fans who think I put all my emotion into my guitar playing. But it wastes my cigarettes since I can't do rapid chord changes and smoke at the same time. Get a cigar if you want to avoid this.

Think of the poor little match girl. Get a lighter. American. Even though you are in England.

Oh man, don't let the FDA hear about this. I don't want my cigs taken off the market because some people don't know how to use them safely. You're supposed to dry them out first. Get a dehydrator. Excaliber is the top of the line and you can get a nice nine tray unit for $499, but they are one sale right now for $399. Hurry - there's only two colors left!
