Cigarettes are NASTY now! :)

Started Friday. Had a few smokes here n there. Now I just can't even do it. Tried one this morning and yuck. It went in the trash after a couple puffs. I can never go back.

vaping = clean and tasty, Smoking = filthy and nasty!

So I've quit smoking! Yay for me!

YAY!!!!!! 4AM!!!! Good on ya, welcome to OUR WORLD Yeah I am forced to go out to the smoking area on the base to vape and it is a darn good thing I am a Meteorologist and always know which way the wind is going to blow so I can always be upwind of the tobacco users because that stuff STINKS!

Yay for you! I had the same experience. I have quit several times before and returning to smoking NEVER tasted nasty to me, until after vaping. Then i would try to smoke a regular cig and it was DISGUSTING.

I have been fighting the urge for weeks! I want an analog so bad I almost feel like crying. I hate going to work because I walk right pass the smoke deck on base.

Congrats! Yeah, I think most of us here have tried cigs after switching to vaping, either as a part of the few they have daily with vaping or out of curiosity after being off them for some period of time. For me, I tried one a week after I completely switched, and holy mother of bob was it terrible. I knew I tastebuds were changing within a few days of switching but how much they changed with regards to cigarettes was tremendous. But it showed me I was on the right track with vaping and I was absolutely done with cigs.

Keep at it! It just gets better from here. And believe me, it's not even remotely done getting better.

I didn't smoke in the house or the car, because yeah, it's nasty. Ashtrays & stale smoke in pretty much any enclosed area are awful. But after almost 5 months of vaping without any cigs, walking by one outdoors smells wonderful.

Great. But keep looking for a juice that truly tastes like tobacco. There could be harder times ahead

Trinifreak - that sounds weird to me... Perhaps there is something wrong... Wrong device? Wrong level of nicotine? Wrong flavor? Hmmm...

Once I got my original ecig kit, I still smoked (and vaped) for 3 months.. the last couple weeks I would smoke just one right before bed. I would smoke, then vape, back and forth and more and more the cigarette tasted nasty and the vapor tasted good.. It didn't take long before I was able to drop that last cigarette because it tasted so bad.

More than likely this is a temporary experience. Keep looking for ecig juice with the proper nicotine level to match your smoking habits and that tastes as much like tobacco as possible without containing tobacco extract. If you leave yourself high and dry you may convince yourself to go back to smoking and never return to vaping.

Good advise. Some of the hardest times to keep from lighting up where with my morning coffee and when having a drink. My tobacco blend saved me! ;-)

Still vaping only. Ciggs still nasty! Ordered a ton of Smokelessimage vanilla - it's coming today. Sometimes I forget to vape. LOL. Yesterday, forgot to take a vaping break for 4 hours... Needless to say at 2pm I was a grouch-bucket! So I had a vape and got some food - all good!

Not missing smoking. I have asked my family not to smoke around me. I have COPD anyway. No returning to smoking for me! Only time I have had a hard time in the past was while drinking. I'm going to put that to the test this weekend. I think I can stick to the vape. It's much easier than all the cold turkey attempts (every single one of them ruined by drinking!)

When drinking and vaping, be prepared to basically chain-vape to keep up. Alcohol depletes nicotine in the bloodstream, bringing on cravings earlier. Turns out, there's science behind all our quit attempts being ruined by a night of drinking.
