To give you a better understanding of how this research would have been performed today, here would be the last two paragraphs that would replace the last one from 50 some years ago.

"The results of these experiments in conjunction with the absence of any observed ill effects in patients exposed to both triethylene glycol and propylene glycol vapors for months at a time, provide assurance that air containing these vapors in amounts up to the saturation point is completely harmless. However, the results of the study may be deceiving because flavoring, such as those used in electronic cigarettes to market the products to children were not tested. In addition, due to the inhalation method required to deliver propylene glycol laden with deadly nicotine by atomizer, inhalation will need to be deeper and thus may cause serious negative effects

We avidly caution that there may be serious consequence in any use of propylene glycol in any of the drug delivery devices and extensive testing should be completed before any conclusions are reached based on this study."

LOL. Hilarious! Very well done! :toast:

I doubt anything in china is hanging from a shoe thread. The average income for a worker is something like 5,000 USD a year. And that is being generous based on what legal workers are making. It can be way less for those working under the table. Imagine you had access to such cheap labor. You could make a million dollars a year selling homemade apple pies.

Not if your competition is undercutting you at every turn. Ruyan stock is down to 7 cents a share. They are reporting a loss.

RUYAN GROUP (HLDGS) LTD (329:HK): Stock Quote & Company Profile - BusinessWeek

Loss for the period increased when compared with the corresponding period in 2009 was mainly attributed to the following adverse factors: the sales of electronic cigarettes products were significantly reduced as a result of the growing threat from counterfeit brands and new regulatory restriction imposed against import of electronic cigarettes products by some overseas countries including but not limited to North America and Israel. Moreover, as mentioned in the annual report for the year ended December 31, 2009 of the company, quality issue happened in one of electronic cigarettes products in September 2009, sales return was continuously recorded in current period, which resulted in a negative turnover in the electronic cigarettes segment; since the second half of 2009, the group was seriously affected by poor financial performance and lack of working capital to finance its trading operation.
