By normal standards the cinnamon essential oil mixes well with a little alcohol, but now that we're adding a citric acid, that and the cinnamon aren't playing as nicely together and we have to add more alcohol to ensure that no separation occurs, the liquid should be primarily clear. But it seems that some separation was still occuring, if we add more alcohol we end up turning your liquid into more of a coctail and less of a
vape. This may cause an atty to burn out as the alcohol makes your atty run at a higher temperature. So, the only recourse was to use less cinnamon and voila! Everything stayed mixed well, no separation, good to go!
As for how much alcohol to add to your own mix, the best I can say, is add a squirt, shake it, if it's still cloudy, add more. The liquid SHOULD be clear, but if it's just very slightly opaque, you should be still good to go.
