someone needs to take the tip and try it out, i dont have any acidic juices anymore as we removed all acidic juices that caused issues out of our line up, let me know and if so ill have them switch the type they use.

Since I commented on this thread, I've had VaporBomb's Fire'n'Ice in a stardust turned upside down and the tip hasn't melted. The plastic seems as hard as it always has been so it's not tacky or anything. The thing is, the plastic is so cracked at the bottom that I can't use it so I don't know if that has anything to do with the tip melting. Send me a free stardust and I can look into it for ya (kidding of course) .

As far as the juice simply being in contact with the plastic over a period of time, it doesn't seem to apply. Granted, what I have isn't straight Cinnabomb, but it's a mixture of their Cinnabomb with a sharp menthol. It has more of the cinnamon juice than the menthol in it.

So... inconclusive?

It's an older Stardust from the first batch that came out in colors, though.

Edit: I mentioned the type of juice because it's from the same vendor as the OP and almost the same juice. Just trying to duplicate the same issue as closely as I can with what I have.

I dont think its necessarily from just touching the tip. I would have to believe it has to be vaped and create the vapor and all that to melt the plastic. I could be wrong, but I dont think that just soaking it in the juice will cause the melting.

Also it took about 2 or 3 days to melt the tip with normal vaping

What happens to the juice when it's vaporized that makes it more acidic than in its liquid form? I'm not trying to be contrary or anything, I'm just curious because I don't understand these things. I realize that you might not know, but perhaps one of our resident genius scientists does!

Okay guys.. there's definitely something FUNKY about cinnamon and the Stardust drip tips.
I had a long wick Stardust sitting around with some juice that has some cinnamon in it (in a 70 PG/ 30 PG blend I'll not name the vendor but say they're one of the better juice vendors out there).
I got tired of the flavor and set the Stardust aside, still about 1/3 full of juice.
I emptied it out today to clean it and noticed that the black glossy finish seems to have been partially dissolved, just by sitting around (the part that sits in the tank is now a greyish color vs. glossy black).
I had another Stardust that I vaped a full tank of that same liquid in, and the glossy black finish was now a very light grey (glossy black gone) where the tip sits inside, on the inner plug.
Needless to say, this is turning me OFF from vaping anything with cinnamon in it at all - even this blend - it's just too weird for me to contemplate.
I'd say, if folks want to vape cinnamon, use a DC carto or just a good old fashioned 510 atty - something more disposable than the stardust or anything with a plastic tank.
Just my $.02
