Pretty weird isn't it? I just wish I could taste something else.
As long as you vape cinnamon or wintergreen or clove your taste buds will suffer. All of those oils have been used to helps with tooth pain for a very long time. That is especially true with cinnamon. It numbs nerves. You may want to consider doing something else for a few days to a week and see if your taste buds come back.
I use them still for tooth and mouth pain but then I have the taste bud problem.
May want to order you flavors in double or triple strength until your taste comes back.

Thanks! I got your PM, but I wanted to respond here too, so other people could read it if they're interested. I hadn't thought about cinnamon for a toothache, I knew it, but didn't make the connection. Doink. At this point I'm vaping all of the others flavors I have. None of them have tasted great, but most of them haven't been horrible.

Hi OCD - I'm sorry we had to meet under unfortunate circumstances and I hope no one will take my comments as a criticism of your company. I know you didn't know about the acrylic caps, anymore than I knew vaping would entail math (volts, ohms, etc.) and chemistry (I never imagined I would someday type "polypropylene" without spell check).

I love the tanks and the caps are really pretty - and not delicate (in case anyone is wondering); I blame the e-liquid. I plan on getting another tank, with acrylic caps, once I find a new vape I like well enough to put in a tank. Which might be soon. The upside of this situation is that having been forced to give up Sulfuric Candy Cane for awhile, I'm actually starting to taste other flavors ;)

Thank you very much for sending the Stainless Steel caps, I appreciate it. I'm going to dedicate the tank to the juice until it's gone. I have quite a few bottles of it, but won't be ordering anymore, for as like you posted it appears aggressive. (I realize e-liquid recipes are proprietary, but I think this one should have come with a MSDS.) I don't like having to consider putting haz-mat on speed dial.

Cheers!

Hmmm...Vixen Vapors now has a warning for RH Candy Cane that states it's not compatible with polycarbonate or acrylic. I know that wasn't on the page until recently. I know for sure it wasn't there when I placed my order on 9/29, since the same night I posted a comment that it melted my nova.

It's been too long for me to edit this post, but I wanted to add an update. Although "RH Candy Cane" now has a warning on the page, Vixen Vapors did not respond to my email; in fact, they never acknowledged one I sent them previously with a different question. They have now lost me as a customer. Not the best move I would think, considering I have raved about their e-liquids on ECF and have spent at least $150.00 on their products in the last 2 - 2.5 months.

Wow. I thought a day was going to go by in which I didn't learn anything. Seriously,
this is very interesting. I never knew those were used for toothaches, etc. Went to
check out the clove information, and sure enough, it is used for dental stuff.

AND THAT'S TOO BAD CUZ I JUST GOT A BOTTLE OF CLOVE TO VAPE :(

Bummer. Well, unless I get a toothache, which is very likely. Why should today be
any different :)

I appear to have broken the links to my previous attachments. Here is the picture again of what cinnamon does to a vivi mini nova:
