Hey all! I just opened one of my Cisco 2 ohm attys, and the thing is just burning the heck out of my throat and nose. It's definitely wet enough. I've been vaping since 2010 and haven't had a Cisco atty do this before. Are there any tips or tricks to fix that? Do I dare debridge/dewick?

The resistance reads 2.1 ohm on my provari. Even at 3.3v I get a very bad burn to the throat. Tried it on my ego as well. Same thing.

Appreciate your help!

Can't really offer solutions, but I wonder if whatever wicking there is around the coil wasn't accidently burned during testing? Either that or perhaps some small foreign object found it's way onto the coil. Did you try aggressively cleaning it?

I bet Avid will replace it, though if you debridge it, all bets might be off. Then again, debridging/dewicking, especially getting rid of the wick, might be the ticket for fixing it. Your call. The one and only Cisco 2.0ohm I tried to debrige I busted in a heartbeat. Then again, I'm a half blind, fumble fingered sot. But they do seem a little more tempermental than the Joye attys which I can debridge pretty easily.

I noticed on my last shipment of 306 3.0 Cisco's that they have changed a few things up on them, including the 510 connector being silver instead of brass, and their resistance being etched on the side of the tube, instead of at the positive battery tip. After putting one in my DCA, I could instantly notice a different taste, almost metallic at the beginning, but after using it for two days straight that taste went away when it broke in.

I have a few 510's from that same order I haven't used yet, as I always keep 2 new atomizers put up in case I pop one. I will test one of those out when I get home from work and see if I notice anything different about it.

I just got some new Cisco 1.5 306 in today and something has changed. There is etching on the side of them and they have a little bigger diameter. Which is good because they fit in my dcs better. But they have a horrible metalic taste to them, that they never had before. Has anyone ordered any Cisco 306's lately and how long did it take to get the metalic taste out of them?
