Classic penstyle - cartridge orientation

Searched but couldn't find the answer... sorry if I'm just blind or simple, but what is the proper orientation for the cartridge to mate with the atomizer on the PS classic penstyle?

Having a similar conundrum with a Joye 510, the carts have 2 rounded sides, so the cartridge is longer in that direction, and two straight/squiggly sides and so shorter in that direction... do the rounded sides match up with where the metal mesh enters the atomizer, or with the white plastic looking parts to the side of the arch of the mesh?

Wow, that may not make any sense at all... maybe if some kind soul could just explain which way the carts should face?

That's a good question. In my experience with the 510, it doesn't matter how you place the cartridge on the atomizer, it will match up with the mesh either way. Hopefully someone with more experience will correct me if the orientation does make a difference!
