Wow CCK! That's the place I frequent during my army days 6 yrs ago. Definitely not heading that way as I stay in the east and work in the Bt Timah area.

I'll hunt for mine during my lunch break later. Anyway when you are removing the cotton wick does the silica get loosen out easily? Or it's bind together by itself separated from the cotton ones.

wahaha same here!! have to tk bus from lot 1 to camp~ oso 6 yrs ago. wait... we same camp? LoL!

Think I'm using a atty that too high resistance for my 3.7V mod. Getting black speck every time I blow it out. Need to start my 5V mod fast.

I'm curious. What happens if your atty res / voltage ratio doesn't give enough heat? Other then not giving enough vapor and flavor?

Will it slow cook the juice in the wick and bridge thus cooking it into a black crust and give you those specks?

It is the heart of the zippo wick, bind together by its own. Doesn't stick to the cotton thread, very easily taken out as the fibre is the core. You'll know it when you see it because it is very smooth and shiny. Much prettier than the default atty wick.

I see thanks for the heads up. I'll be looking for it.
