I have several V2 batteries, that are discolored and getting gunky. I generally use a tooth pick or Dentak bridge cleaner to try to get into the grooves but can't seem to get them clean enough to suit me. I would be interested in knowing how others care for their batteries. Any specific solution, object to clean the area where the cartridge screws onto the battery. Thanks!

Take a Q-tip dipped in alcohol and clean all the grooves. I've done that on every battery I ever had. If they are automatic batteries, make sure not to get any liquid down in the little hole. You should clean the battery charger with a Q-tip and alcohol (unplug it first! LOL), too because they also get gunked up.

I'm an RN at a hospital so I have "free" access to little square alcohol pads which work perfectly for cleaning batteries and cartomizer ends. I just scrunch it up to a little point and smash it in to the battery end on the carto or on the threaded end of the battery and twist a little bit, making sure to press it in hard enough to get as far in there as I can. Keeps my gear looking brand spankin' new. They're great for when you're filling a carto, too - sanitizes the ends while cleaning it. Also good to wipe your fingers with if you get some juice on you. Be careful with the auto batteries, however.
