I haven't had much luck when it comes to cleaning them (only tried boiling). They're cheap enough that it's worth it IMO just to break out a new one.

what this guy said. if you keep them topped off often there's no reason you shouldn't be able to see a week + out of a single carto. they're what like $2 a piece? forget cleaning em

I dont clean mine cause I normally get about 2-3 weeks on a carto, sometimes alittle longer, so I feel Im def getting my moneys worth without having to clean them. SOme cartos dont wick as well after being cleaned and also dont wick as well.
What cartos do you use? You can try boiling them if their metal ones. Just make sure you let them fully dry out

I do clean mine and used the cleaned ones to try out new flavors. If the flavor is bad no loss! I soak mine in hot water for 20-30 mins and then squeeze hot hotter thru them using a cleaned out dish detergent squeeze bottle. When they smell clean and fresh I blow out the water and let them dry for 3-7 days. Great for juice testing! bnrk

Thats most likely because the carto got too dry and you singed the wick. You need to make sure you keep them wet to avoid that. It depends on how bad you singed it. If its not bad sometimes with a cleaning the burnt taste will go away, but if you really burnt it, generally that taste will always be there so its best to start with a new carto

Some cartos take a cleaning better than others. Some I find dont work well at all after their cleaned. They wont wick as well and don't hold as much juice.
That's why I dont even bother cleaning them. I use the Ressurector cartos and never clean them. I get about 2-3 weeks avg on one carto. If you fill them correctly and take care of them you can def get your money's worth and never clean them once.
A 5-pack of cartos lasts me over 2 months, so for under $8, it's not a bad deal at all

boiling them works if they're not in too bad of shape. If they taste burnt, toss them. They're dead and will not come back to life. If you're curious you may be able to unroll them and see the burnt filling. Once you get flavors you like, use the same carto for the same flavor. This way you're not mixing flavors and don't risk burning the filling because you're trying to vape the last juice out.

I'm using a tank how did it get dry :( thought that wasn't supposed to happen

Carto tank?

I'd guess even with a carto tank, if the juice you were using was too thick, and you were vaping heavy enough, you could singe the carto due to the juice not wicking quickly enough. Hasn't happened to me yet. I usually use 80/20 juice, or even less vg.

Hi guys,

This is my first post. :)

Well, I clean cartomisers by leave them under lemon juice and alcohol. I leave them for at least 2 hours.

After that I dump the alcohol and lemon juice and put the cartomizer in another clean recipient. This recipient must handle high temperatures and can't be plastic, ofc.

I put boiled water for 15 minutes in cartomizers and after I expel the excess water by blowing cartos, I repeat this process once.

The cartos will never be like a new ones but I can use them for 1 week more...

Sorry for my bad english. I hope I explained myself correctly for you to understand.

Best Regards.

P.S. I use ethilical alcoholl, it's less toxic than methilical. I recommend checking labels before using this type of products.
