Cleaning cartos?

Ok so bear with me as I've only been using e-cigs for a week now - but I'm enjoying it. After researching on the net for a few days I bought a Bloog Maxxfussion PCC kit and got started down the path of vaping. So far so good, seems to work great to me but I have nothing else to compare it too except analogs. I'm using the blank Bloog cartos as well and playing with flavours to find what works for me. Now the problem is I have a few flavours that I don't like the taste of, so how do I clean the carto out to use it again? I've heard about simply boiling them in water, but not sure if that applied to these particular cartos or not.

I tried cleaning them since the LR dual coil cartomizers run about $2 each. It took three boils to get them white and clean-looking. Many didn't draw right after they dried. I could tell by smell what juice had been in them even though the filler was white. Using the same juice a carto will last me a while. When it gets funky-tasting I toss it.

I too, had a hard time with carto cleaning, but another member made a video, and if you follow it EXACTLY, it will be the best cleaned carto around, trust me. I refer everyone new to cleaning cartos, here. I am not just advertising for Pbusardo, his method really works for me and others I have referred to it!

I've never cleaned a carto that they tasted the same as when I got it. And I've tried every method out there.

Dual coil cartos different story. This is one of the drawbacks of a two piece system. It doesn't come with an atty to test juices.

I attach one foot of clear tubing to carto.
Using mouth I force hot water through carto.
Carto in pan of hot water; no water in mouth.
Blow out excess water w/ mouth.
Fill carto w/ PGA and allow to soak into coil diaper.
Blow PGA out w/ mouth.
Dry w/ hair dryer.

Pic shows the diaper that must be dried.
I don't remove carto tube for cleaning.

Some post said compressed air has some bad residue but I'm not sure... I messed with cleaning, but unless you're on a budget or really need the cartos I'd pass... I use the Bloog cartos and I can refill them a ton of times... I have 15 in a pile that have lasted a week and 40 more in boxes--I was expecting the worst. It's probably more of a hassle to wash them then it may be worth in the long run... Also, I find Bloog cartos to be the BEST for the 808ds all around so know that if you consider switching...

If you know the compressor is well maintained and make sure there are no fluids in the tank it is probably OK. You can also get a cheap filter kit for extra assurance. My compressor is pretty nasty so I won't use it but YMMV. It's also a good idea to blow some of the air on a white cloth as a test before using it on your cartos. If it stains you may want to think twice about using it.

Do not use canned air! it is not really air but a combination of chemicals. Turn a can upside down while spraying for a bit and you will see.

Not to mention canned air has a bitter agent added to it to discourage people from huffing it. I'd think it would taint the carto.
