Cleaning GGTS

Hey guys my GGTS is pretty worn and doesn't have too much shine to it anymore. I was wondering of some good ways to clean it.

Autosol,flitz or brasso will restore the shine

"Mothers billet polish" has worked the best for me..., also "never dull" and "cape cod cloths" as well.

I've looked at that but it's £18=$28 in the UK for a 4oz tub,wish they did it in a smaller tube.

if its the nickel one then use oil or vinegar as a start Y0

Imeo, any chance you can make or know of something I can use to plug the pin of the top AVS chamber connector pin when refilling the AVS? I try to use my hand, but it is very awkward. I loved the little plug that the FOG comes with. Something like that would be really nice for refilling fast.

We need something like fog but I cant make rubber in lathe. I will ask the fog seller if he can do something about it. But wouldnt it be more time-consuming if we had a rubber like this? Hand is too easy for the job. I think that if fog had a bottom hole like AVS and not side holes, Greek seller would recommend to refill it like AVS.

Not for me. Honestly, it is a HUGE pain for me to refill the AVS with my hand. I lose a lot of liquid b/c my hand is not very steady and if I could just plug the hole, fill and go, I'd be a very happy vaper.

I fill my AVS without removing it most of the time and I never experience any problems just have to make certain the CR is closed

I do what B-Rad mentioned when topping up, but after reading this thread I tried something else. The rubber cover from an 808 cartomizer has a nipple in it that goes into the mouthpiece end------cut to useful size and use this as a plug. I just tried it---it works!

BR, I do the same all the time. bUT I said that better to put off the AVS to refill just to avoid even a drop inside CT.

Nice trick tv, I didnt know that! Maybe its a quick and cheap solution for Zai and for anyone else that wants to refill like fog style

OK...I need some serious help. My aluminum GGTS control ring is completely stuck shut. I can't get it open no matter what I do. HELP!?

Use a shoe lace, wrap it in such a way that it gives you leverage. Wet it to give it grip maybe if it's one of the new shiny CRs.

I used a rubber strap and pliers...doesn't budge on bit. The only thing I accomplished was scratching up the metal

Shoe string should work, got a terribly gritty one apart, fine country sand. The whole GGTS was seized up badly. I did soak it in WD40 overnight.

I'm telling you...it's not moving. It is STUCK. Does anyone sell these caps so I can just replace it? This is ridiculous that I can't even budge it.
