I have a chrome silver bullet with the extension sleeve and a kick. Having issues with it not making a good connection. My SB is several years old and well used. Inside is very dirty and not sure how to clean it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are several things you can use to clean the inside of the tube. I am assuming you have one of the raw aluminium units that is polished. First thing clean the main threads with a microfiber cloth, get all of the old Noalox out of them then reapply new. Also, If you are using the old stainless steel spring you will want to replace it with the newer "hot spring" available at Altsmoke.com. The kick is very sensative to loosing ground, the stainless spring will make the kick think that it has lost ground due to the slightly higher resistance. While you have the spring out, use some alcohol to clean the bottom of the battery housing.

Thanks for this info, guys! I knew about the Noalox and some Mother's polish to keep the outside nice but had some questions about cleaning the inside, which you guys answered here. How about the 510 threads? I know I shouldn't use alcohol to clean that as it can degrade the parts inside. Should I also clean that with Mother's or Noalox or something else?

Best to use just a q-tip in the 510 connector. I wouldn't want to get the Mother's or Noalox in there :)
