Cleaning Out Full Carts

Hey guys/gals, sorry if this is a repeat thread but I searched and couldn't find an answer. Here's my question - is there a simple way to clean out a full cart so you can refill it with a different juice?

My situation is this - I started at 11mg and recently went up to 18. I love the 18's and don't have any intentions of going back down. The issue is that I have a bunch of full 11mg but they're no good to me so I want to fill them up with 18 instead.

A couple of things:

1. I'm not going to go to the trouble to boil them or anything else complicated (I'm just lazy enough not to put in too much effort ). Can I simply rinse them out?

2. I intend to fill with the same or very similar flavor so I don't care if they're completely "fresh", just cleaned out and ready to take more juice at a higher strength.

i would just do the reverse spin to get most of the juice out, then drip in the new juice. I know boiling's a pain, but snowdragon has a video about using a turkey baster and hot/warm water to clean the carto's. I've had really good luck doing this -- just make sure they are fully dry before you try to use them...I let mine sit and dry for a couple of days.
Snowdragon also has posted video's about the reverse spin. The only difference to a regular spin is that you take off the soft cap and put the condom on the mouth end. Then put it mouthpiece-side down in your spinning apparatus, and spin away. I've found that just doing this gets rid of 99% of the old juice -- so if you're refilling them with similar flavors this may be all you need to do.
I'm sure more experienced folks will pitch in with suggestions, too -- but this is what's worked well for me.

have you been spinning carto's to get more juice in them? If so just turn the carto around to get the juice out again....I'll try and find the link and post back if I can find it

I have tried the spin. I noticed it did work, but to be honest I didn't have much trouble fitting in almost the same amount of juice with just "step dripping", by which I mean putting a few drops in and letting them settle while starting on the next ones before coming back to it for more and maybe shaking it a few times.

ok I think this is the one...and I just drip a lot of times, too. but spinning seems to help get the juice down to the bottom of the carto faster..hope this helps!

Thanks jbmcdan, you beat me to it, as jb noted just reverse spin those babies out to remove the bulk of the juice.

As a new Vapor I'd recommend watching the whole video, but just to see how to wash out Cartos quickly hit 7:00 mark.

I would recommend the ones below for cleaning and refilling.

For refilling with the Drip Method (no audio) a video is worth a 1,000 words etc etc: Always put .... Plug Condom or a coned condom in while refilling, then check the air tube in the Carto for any juice before use. If there is any juice, put a little pressure on the side of your bottle, turn the Carto upside down, stick the dropper in the air hole, release the pressure on the bottle and the resulting vacuum will suck the excess juice back in.
