I guess I've been doing some things wrong.

My first kit was the XL autos. I'd read about shorting them out with excess juice, so when I was doing the cindom refill method, I assumed it should be done from the non battery end. I also did not remove the cap. I just pressed down until I saw it just start to come up through the battery end, then I let it sit for 10 or 20 minutes. Then I'd push it the rest of the way down, being sure nothing leaked out of the battey end.

I suppose this is why I can only get about a half condom of juice in my refills. LOL, when the suction from removing the condom from the cart made the cap pop off, I thought I'd broken the cart!

As far ask searching You Tube for videos, or Googling for them, well, I've seen some pretty freaky folks doing these videos. There are a fair number of them that are just a waste of time. Much better to ask IMO for one that people think is worth referencing as opposed to pot luck searches. Is that bad form?

YouTube - Reverse Taryn Spin

Unless you run into a tightly wrapped Carto, a Carto that doesn't seem to absorb the juice very well a taryn spin is unnecessary. On a tightly wrapped Carto the taryn spin when used in conjunction with a .... plug and a condom or combo condom with plug works well. Just remember it capped battery end down, unless you are trying to drain a carto of juice. Taryn spin does work well for drying out freshly rinsed out cartomizer to help them dry faster.

In the video Leaford does not mention the use of a plug...

The issues that you run into with the condom method is that without a plug it is messy, juice in your threads, on your fingers, in the condom, on the outside of the carto and leaking back down the battery through the air tube.

Syringes are cool and probably the most effective, however for me personally the less syringes in my life the better.
