Cleaning the Legacy

Hey Legacy owners!!!! Dont' flame me on this but it got me to wondering. I've just ordered a Reo Grand, and have been doing my homework, (just like I did with the Legacy). Is it a good idea to wash the Legacy like the Reo mods? Can't really say how long I've had my first legacy but all still work great. (Enough I got three of em altogether. Set to different configurations). Does anyone wash their Legacy? I've taken an emery board and lightly scuffed the battery post on the first one.

Still no problems with any of them but I do find that the one I have set up for a straight mechanical (the first one) still works great. The other two are set up for kicks but I really don't use em that much. (I got way to many mods). Even I can only carry so many at one time. But I do like to carry different ones. Hey a man has to have his dreams ya know.

If you want to wash them, you're more than welcome do. I simply take a paper towel with some rubbing/denatured alcohol and clean it up that way. If you really want to clean it up, take a rubbing/polishing compound from your local hardware store and polish the threads, hex shaft, etc... real good and you'll be all set

when my reo gets juice under the spring plate, it cuts off the conductivity I think.
I'm not positive but I dont think the legacy suffers from this happening.
But its definitely good to clean any mod every one in a while I think. I even clean my vv mods.

Agree that all mods need cleaning. Provari for example gets a weekly cleaning of 510 connector and battery post. I just wasn't sure about the Legacy. I like the idea of Cash's was with the alcohol rub down.

Spot on Cash!! Just did my 18650 standard + extension like you said. Just a dab of Nolax and I hate to say it, but it's better than brand new. LEGACY ROCKS.
