Cleaned what I thought was a dead V4L Auto PT w/Iso 99% and works like new.

Was just about to toss it when I saw a post on another subforum about cleaning the batts and PT.

Yup...that's pretty much it except I wasn't as delicate. Just rammed the pipe cleaner in the holes and immersed the batt end in the Iso99%.

Like new.

I didn't know if it would be significantly different given that you were talking about a passthru, and I also didn't know if there was something that needed to be done on the USB end of things.

Didn't do anything to USB end but I guess the airholes and threads and intake hole was caked w/dry juice cause it vapes like new again.

It's funny you should post this today Puff just went through the same thing. It appears that our batteries get very "gunky" and need these cleanings

Hee hee, reminds me of the first time I went to clean mine. I had so much gump in there that I couldn't even get past it with a needle. I felt like it took me 2 hours per battery, but I was scared to do anything but be delicate. Great post though because a lot of people do not realize that it needs to be done. "Take care of the precious!'
